Nice blaster but the only other thing TDK should have done was add a LINE OUT(RCA) option so that if your friends have a TDK blaster as well they could be patch together(line in/ line out).

With the old blaster you could one playing the cassette while the others played the music only and there was no limit how many blaster you could have hooked up. With friends we had 7 blaster hooked up together back when I was younger. No worries JVC's kaboom doesn't have this option as well. Big mistake

I've tested the 2 speaker version of this in HMV, the sound quality really isn't to impressive, volume is however. The bass was extremely fuzzy and the whole sound didn't seem that good.

For anyone who cares about sound: This system has good liiks but is far from great sound if you love rap and hiphop this is not the boombox for you. This system has a lot of distortion at random volume levels especially with songs with big bass if you're a hiphop/rap fan get the Monster Beatbox it works great the bass is great no distortion at any volume level. So if you want looks get this but if you care for sound get the beatbox

can you fit a 8 inch sub in that center subs place??? maybe just drill out the opening...it would be very close to the other 2 six inch speakers on the outside but should be able to get almost a db more out of it with a 8 inch woofer
