I agree 100% with your message, Andrew. I would just comment on the use of Fear of the Lord. To Fear the Lord. Godly fear is not to be confused or substituted for worldly fear. The Hebrew yare is the original pictograph that describes our position with God. The Hebrew letters form a pictograph of God's hand over a man's head, bringing him under God's authority. God is surely fearful, even dreadful, but not for the lovers of His soul. If that were true, Oprah would be right in her position
The stuff that Hits home, is usually the stuff that people shrink from.
People, Places, and Things control us or our attitudes, when you give your life over to God and salvation your supposed to lay these things down at the foot of the cross.
Most people want God to control these things to their likeing.
That's not the Christian Attitude.
We're supposed to have an "Understanding" of the world an "Acceptance".
