Ya I met him & hugged him and got a kiss on the cheek from him....He came to Orillia, Ontario a local bar called 2nd Last Call it was a few years ago "BUT STILL".... and soooo many girls came to see him, and I was the "ONLY" one in the line up that got a kiss on the cheek....Hey I got alot of questions that night....but "IT WAS SOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!" I was surrounded....MMMMMMmmmmmMMMMM that man is Beautiful & Talented, Can't wait for the next show!

I agree with you that he actually improves on the Steve Miller Band's version.  While I am commenting, I should point out that you spell the words "cease" and "amaze."

How can he improve on Steve Miller's Band...he made no changes...same melody, tempo, chords...if you call adding cliche country instruments into the arrangement improving on the original then I guess.

He does a solid job, but he really adds nothing new to it so I wouldn't say it's an improvement. Steve Miller just has more of that carefreeness to the song.

Maybe he is one that makes a remake like it should be done, There are so many remakes out there that are nothing like the original song. He does an amazing job with this song. And his voice is way better.
