was trying to find a RR crossing due to my job, was in the middle of NOWHERE deep in the woods. Was posted just like the area 51 sign, no name posted! looked like a prison and was HEAVILY fenced with razor wire!! wanted to look around a little but was a little nervous!!

DHS used harsh interrogation on us when there was no crime indicated or implicated. I had 3 agents surround me screaming questions so that I could not even answer because I could not focus. They threatened me with Prison saying they know I am guilty of something or I would not be acting so scared. I was crying and shaking and begged for an asprin , I thought I was having a heart attack. They threatened to take my husband . In the end we never heard again from them but I will never forget.

We received a response that they had no information on us at all and had never conducted any investigations on us. We did a FOIA request at our local FBI as well as the main headquarters. My husband is a wonderful man and very popular for being the most honest man you will ever meet. People rush to help him because he does that for others. He has never even had a traffic ticket here or in his own country.

I did the FOIA request for me and my husband after DHS interrogated us simply because my husband is an immigrant from Jordan. They had nothing on him at all and we have been married 10 years. The truth was they were after me an American born citizen , I am active in promoting Constitutionalism and exposing Governement corruption. My husbands best friend is a Police detective and they threatened and interrogated him for sponsoring my husbands case.

FYI to All... Last night I too went to the DHS website and requested this same info via the FOIA. Ted was generous enought to post the verbage of his request, which I used as a detailed framework for my request. It took me less than 5 minutes. Let's ALL do this and see what kind of responses we get!

Folks... I think that Ted is right on the mark by requesting this info via the FOIA. As well, I think that we should ALL contact our local Congressmen/women and demand that this issue be investigated and the results be reported back to their individual constituents. We as citizens need to make a noise, as well as our elected representatives! If we ALL make a noise perhaps we'll rattle the cage loud enough to get some answers, or at least a response to work from for further inquiry.

Here is what "Perfected" means. When I broke my back, I had to send in "Perfected" paperwork to get my benefits. When I asked a lawyer what Perfected meant, he told me it meant I had to pay him $3,500 in fees. The forms had to be filled out a certain way, in triplicate, notorized, with additional info in triplicate notorized, in three special binders, with the pages numbered in a certain way, with an index in a certain way, formatted a certain way, shipped to the court in a certain way.

thanks for the persistence. We have the same law in Canada for access to information and it is a real joke. Half the time they find some excuse to deny access to the information, or the information comes when it is no longer relevent. In many cases politicians uses the access to information requests as a beachhead to set up their defense, because they know in advance what they have to defend themselves against. The answer is Texas independence gents. It all startes there.
