I'm north indian by the way but ever since I have watched pokiri i have became great fan of Mahesh babu . I have seen athadu, okkadu, sainukudu , athidi, nijam , arjun and now murari. Any more recommendations?
People will be watching the movies like spider man, super man, Bat man and all and never complain about that.........This movies is superstitious but it gave good concept message in believing the god and having trust and faith in our own confidence. Last but least, The overall movie is fantastic.. Just enjoy it.......
Now here's another proof of stupidity,why waste time in all this meaningless rituals instead of going to hospital and get cured,HUH!!?....He's not dying because the idols but 'cuz he has an old insane grandma!!,,,OMG,if this kind of rituals really take place for real then all I can say is NO COMMENT!!
@hiandnowbye: you're right. i felt the same. this movie could have been made more interesting with some realistic story and not the superstitious, god taking revenge etc plot.

But media plays a VERY POWERFUL role in influencing people's minds and thoughts, which eventually leads to people's opinions, attitudes and behaviour towards others - eventually resulting in a healthy (or negative) society. So even when presenting a work of fiction, it shoud be done so with responsibility and logic.
In the case of this movie, imagine a god taking one life to spare another!!
Come on! Does any religion (or Hinduism in this case, as shown in the movie) support this logic?So, media is RESPONSIBLE in whatever it presents - my opinion .. :-)
