After reviewing all these comments,I have one question,Why in the fu*k are you ppl even watching this tutorial if you already know more than the teacher? I smell bullsh*t!!!
you're mixing the blues scale with the standard, you need to get rid of that second note on the A string, should only be fingers 1 and 3, unless you add finger 3 to the G string
Great lesson, enjoyed it lots. A bit confused when you used half the blues scale at the beginning then left them out in the explanation! Otherwise it was a big help, many thanks.
Pentatonic means five not six. Stop teaching wrong scales. There is not a single flat note in A pentatonic. There are no sharps and no flats in A pentatonic. If i was your neighbor I would certainly tell you to "bone up"
@ohhellyeahgimmeabeer dude he is all right. he plays the scale with a lil interwall after 5 notes. and he clearly know what pentatonic means. its your understanding skills that needs improvement.

im sorry...but this is wrong he put a flat 5th in the first octav but not in the second...and in all trueness the flat 5th isnt in pentatonic scale yes its in blues scale but he got that wrong too he would add the 8th fret on the G string to make blues but remove the 6th fret on the a string for pentatonic...sorry to be "that guy" but teach us right please sir

Thanks for this! I am a beginner. One question...at 38-39 seconds in you are playing the A string...it looked like you fretted it three times (three separate notes) later in the video you say to jump two frets (thus only playing two notes) Which is correct? Either way?
Thanks! I've been taking guitar class for about a month - I know how to play the major and minor pentatonic scales, but I wasn't sure what to do with them to make it sound like music instead of scales.

NIce man. Thanks really. You encouraged me to use my guitar more and do a little of my self with the pentatonic scale. Is this it? I mean it's the pentatonic scale right? You just have to adjust it to the key in order for it to sound good? Anyway good job bro. keeep it up. God bless you!
i like the way you did yours, i can play along with the simple song in the background, is that a song, or did you record that and throw it in, id like to use it to make some random stuff

NIce man. Thanks really. You encouraged me to use my guitar more and do a little of my self with the pentatonic scale. Is this it? I mean it's the pentatonic scale right? You just have to adjust it to the key in order for it to sound good? Anyway good job bro. keeep it up. God bless you!
