well now Sandra is 20 times better than pavlova...her floor exercise was great,full of feeling and I was soooo excited...she impressed me and also the public and the referees...she really diserved the Gold and she take it after failing at beam in the qualifications...BRAVO SANDRA!!!

The styles are completely different. Pavlova is elegant (obviously, is soviet) and Sandra is more expressive, and has a more popular style. But both are great.

Andreea Raducan is commenting, and she said that she is protecting her left ankle. I think that's the one she had lots of problems with, and i think that it's a really smart move to watch out for her ankle, because of Beijing. She really needs to be in shape by then.

Great routine! I don't like her piked and tucked full-ins back to back either, but I did like her smile and her decent attempt for a choreography! I'm still in awe for Anna's floor work, though, and I'll root for her in the finals. Still, it's great to see that the European gymnasts are getting stronger and stronger. I have personally never counted Romania out of a medal contention in Beijing and now I'm so glad that these amazing girls proved me right!

Yeah it's a sign. This is eerily reminiscent of Catalina Ponor in 2004 when the judges started scoring her close to 9.8 while everyone else was lucky to break 9.6. Hopefully Cheng Fei will put forth a clean routine in Beijing and beat Izbasa.

I have to say, this routine is one of my favourites at the moment. Great tumbling, great presentation. She looks like she is enjoying herself but doesn't look fake or cheesy like Johnson. Her choreography has improved SOO much since last year. The music is great and captivating also. I really hope she's successful in Beijing.

i agree. huge improvement in dance and performance and excellent tumbling. my only complaint is her using a tuck and pike full in...it's very repetitive and points to a huge problem with the new code. while valuable, it would be more gymnastically pleasing to not see the same pass twice basically. but on the whole i really really like this routine.
