@DaAnimekid You can still do it in this game, just get the timing right. However, if your combo is too long and the hitstun deterioration is too high, the jS after volcano won't connect.

Trying to find a third member for my team maybe you could suggest?

I'm using Ryu and Iron Fist right now. I used Wesker in Vanilla but i just can't seem to do much. Virgil and Strider seem cool but Im not getting much with them either

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 I don't really play Ryu and Iron Fist, so I don't know how helpful my advice would be. Wesker is still quite good in this game, so I would recommend him on anchor with the gun shot assist.

@ExeCaptain Well, I decided on two charactes for sure now. Iron Fist and C. Viper. I've gotten really good with these two over everyone else in the game. I'm thinking of Dr. Strange for my 3rd because I love his assist and he generally seems awesome. The thing is, I can't figure out anything really good with him lol.

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 I dont play Doctor Strange, but his double beam assist looks great. It looks like he'd be great at anchor, with XF3 and Spell of Vishanti.

@ExeCaptain Heh. I use him as anchor and I do use the the double beam assist (bolt of something idk) I love this assist because it gets my Viper combo going. Im currently trying out Strider

Couple of questions from a newer player: (1) How do you charge a shot with Zero and still carry out your combo? Do you bind H to an additional key? (2) What is the downward spike you do with Spencer at 0:33 to OTG? Is that a new UMVC3 move?

Most people use L for their charge buster, but you can use M or H if you want. It's your preference whether or not you want to use another button to charge a buster for Zero - you don't have to but you may find it easier.

That is Spencer's new UMvC3 move, I think it's done with QCF+S.

@Torrne I like to charge Zero's buster with L, I attach it to the L2 button. The catch is if you charge it with L, you can't use that button anymore. If you want to use L, you have to hold onto M or H. So basically you have to switch the charge buttons around.

And Spencer's OTG move is qcf S. You have to tiger knee it in order for it to work.

I'm trying to figure stuff out with Strider too, seems hard to get big damage with him.
