  • take it easy dud , try to see the show some other time . i feel the same way at the beginning .

  • this is more goddam confusing then my prof... fuck sakes

  • JELLYFISH AT 3:41!!!!

  • Totally lost me with the coin example!

  • helpful

  • saw this video on a site that I'm trying so hard to retrieve can you please help me! it was some online stats website!!!! thank you in advance!

  • Glad I found your channel. I trade stocks and going in depth through these probabilities has given me a greater understanding of how probabilities can effect the long term edge in my trading. Thanks a lot!

  • "i didn't need to draw it but i did anyway"

  • This is a difficult way to do it. You should do an EV (expected value) calculation (Yeah I plat poker). The odds of flipping 1 head is (.5*9)+(1*.1)=.45+.1=.55 so just do .55^5 and you'll get the answer

  • Thanks for the work!

  • i think that getting 1m head from a normal coin this very^1000000 hard to get it

  • intresant

  • so because the insides of my equation is the probability of 1 flip being heads I need to know the probability of getting heads and heads and heads and heads and heads (and my teacher told me means multiply in probability). So it took it to the fifth power.

  • this was me being crazy and not knowing anything. sorry :)

  • Please help. I'm trying to understand your answer and feel mine is right. I got the equation ((9/10)(.5)+(1)(1/10))^5. I got what is inside the outermost parenthesis because there is a 9 in 10 chance that there will be a 50% chance of getting a heads or (which means add in probability my teacher told me) there will be a 1 in 10 chance that there will be a 100% chance of getting a heads. I then put the equation to the power of five because the inside amounts to the probability of1filp being heads

  • @turkeyman64 khan help him

  • Your videos are Wonderful! Thanks a lot

  • great video!!! good explanation

  • I just want to say that it took me a minute to realize that you are picking one coin and flipping it five times, not picking five coins and flipping each one once.

  • same happened to me. and i got puzzled over why he failed to specify whether or not the flipped coin is placed back into the urn.

  • At 53 seconds: "... pick a coin out and then I'm going to flip THAT coin ... 5 times"

  • this is great! Your voice suits your teaching -- very soothing and engaging!

  • keep it up!

  • luv it
