Well, the lake has ben surrounded by the urban area of Hangzhou, which has a population of 4 million. Do you think there are other species than human beings to protect here?

If a fish is caught or killed in the lake, the fine will be started from ~10000 NT$.

I think that should be sth to know about the environment protection.

not quite sure about the stated point. But it seemed indicating that the govenment is there to protect the lake including fish. fishing should be regulated but not be banned. As long as its population can be maintained, proper fishing is surely no problem as human is part of the food chain.

But this is not my point at all.

Animals suffer excessive noises generatd by human and get depressed. Why setting up a stage filled with sensuous lights and noises over a lake? I was there before and enjoyed my serene peaceful strolling arround the lake at day and night. I can only say: The process of from "sensuous" to "spiritual" and of showing respect toward other creatures does take effort and time. Human beings need to be educated and are willing educate themselves.

A side issue discussed above. How to regulate fishing: My experience in us is "fishing permit" requirement. Issue permit, stating the seasons allowed to fish and the quantity of fish allowed per permit.

Taiwan has been selling NUCLEAR WASTE from the nuclear plant to North Korea. Which are buried just severall hundred meters from Sino-Korean boundary.

For a state committed to environment protection. A rich Taiwan should never bury nuclear waste in a poor country to avoid radiation.
