Yep FF X is hands down the best story wise game play wise I don't know maybe FF 3 I'm a sucker for the job system but over all ff 3 ff 6 ff 7 ff 10 are the top tier of final fantasy but every singe entry are top tier in rpg's period so the only other jrpg that comes close to the quality of final fantasy is Dragon Quest 8 that was a masterpiece.
