I know A downhill bike gets pretty pissed when you ride the brakes down a hill, and I bet that thing gets pissed when stoped from 70 to 0 jesus, how is the street legal stuff holding up in todays new California NO enduro bull shit law?
i had the same set up as you before i bought a takegawa 5 speed,. i had 110 cc with stock clutch hd springs. i would only drive 30 miles and the oil would be dirty. with takegawa5 speed now i can drive on the highway at about 5000rpm and i will be going like 60mph. before takegawa 5 speed my max speed was 70kmh. any one who is reading this and plan on building a street 50 do not do what this guy did, if you do you will be spending way too much on replacement parts/ oil, especially clutch parts
if you did pay 7000 for that you got robbed, especially u.s.a. money. what ever parts store you go to much have a few extra thousands around. and a 110cc with stock clutch theirs going to be some burning clutch parts/ internal damage, ive learned from experience.
I didn't pay $7000 for the bike...I got paid $7000 for it. The parts were over $6,000 "dealer cost", and I was receiving the highest level discounts from both Classic Honda USA and Red Baron. The customer I built this for is one of my best friends, so I assure you I didn't rip him off. Finally, my customer rides this bike every day, has logged hundreds, if not thousands of street miles, and has been doing so without any issues on the clutch, or anything else for that matter.
ive never herd of someone putting a 18mm carb on a 110cc, i think you might be lying. also what is light weight valve terrain??bs. what size sprockets front and back
Now you're just making yourself look ignorant. Carb kit was a 21mm. Light weight valve "train" (not terrain) refers to the valves, valve spring retainers, and keepers, all of which were made of titanium. I ran a 16 tooth front and 35 tooth rear sprocket, and the motor has so much torque that it will still wheelie in every gear.
dont put a video on youtube saying false statements, and no one will comment bad things. if you labeled the titled $3000 xr50 then i would say good things. i could build that bike right now it would cost no more than 3000. your engine is stock, with a paint job, get a 5 speed tranny then say 7000. once again good shit though, also how much do you pay for insurance.
Stock motor?!? It's a 110cc 4-spd, w/ porting, light weight valve train, cam, high volume oil pump, and a heavy duty clutch. I put over $1,000 of parts into the motor/trans alone. You can't build this bike for $3,000 because it's got that much in suspension, wheels and brakes. When's the last time you saw a 50 running Excel hoops instead of that cheap Chinese sh!t? When's the last time you saw a 50 w/ a Scott's? The parts bill on this bike at dealer cost was over $6k and $500 in powder coating.
@355vk1 lmfao you r a fucking retard same power as yz250 stfu, and whats this $12000 that thing is almost all stock. my crf50 is way better way faster way more power than that and it didnt cost more than $4000. stop lying to people about your cheap crf50. like common your engine is like all stock with a paint job.
@dilt20 you fuck head my crf50f is a bbr race bike and it cost me 12k and no it does not have the same power as my little bros yz250f but it did cost that much look them bikes up on google.
You guys are so nice...tasteless, I'll smoke you, fu$%in ugly (that guy can't even spell). Didn't your mother's ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say then you can go and...
dilt20...it is worth $7k, cause that's what I got PAID! What kind of money do you have in your little kid's bike?
