  • We shoot a Browning 300mag Boss system .Recoil is really not bad at all.MY WIFE SHOT IT. We load a 150 grain Hornady bullet .We have the Burris scope with MILDOT set for the 150 gr bullet. This rifle is amazing. 500plus yards for deer made all the time. Great deer rifle or bear.elk. 150 is a great bullet for white tail.

  • Was this frying pan seasoned with crisco or with lard? It makes a big difference.

  • What the hell did you do that for, that was the only thing keeping the women in the kitchen, now there gonna come out thinking they can drive, or worse, maybe even vote ha ha ha

  • Rofl, "we're enviormental!" xD

  • try that with an IRON frying pan, instead of an ALUMINUM one. Then u got something.

  • i have a .338 win. mag show a video of that lol

  • Thats not even a cast iron pan. Its aluminum. A 22 would go through that.

  • Nice groupings. Not.

  • wher is the fryn pan steve? STEVE, WHER IS THE GOT DAM FRYN PAN?!?! got damit, if he went an shot up another one of my dam fryn pans im kill him

  • wtf! STEVE! THEY PUT HOLES IN YOU!

  • What's with the "we're environmental" thing at the end of the video?

  • try grannies cast iron. I will guarantee your results will be slightly different.

  • @RECOILJUNKIE38 lol, you really think that? :D

  • Frying pan?? Pshhh...what frying pan? More like butter. =)

  • im is invermentalilyretarded!

  • dude that was y moms good pan omg im goanna get killed

  • Were environmental! :P RoFl

  • .408 cheytac (forgive spelling) its the almost .50 bmg, .338 lapua is pretty heafty too, but the jury is out on if its got more kick, i've never shot a .300 wm and .338 lapua in a similarly configured rifle (.338's i've tried have been more tricked out with anti recoil shit and such but it had some serious oomph)

  • This is why we don't use pans for armor plating.

  • .30-06 is usually a 150 gram, can sometimes be up to 170.

.300 win mag is steadily a 180 gram.

  • Yes it kicks more.

  • would have been no match for my Kevlar frying pan..........

  • i didnt mean it to sound so mean i just ment there is nothing to the teflon pans you probley could throw a knife throw one i just wanted to see a cast iron pan something grandmother would make corn bread in lol i went with the 338 win mag ammo was cheaper at the gander mountain box of 20 was like 34 $ and i reload and my buddy gets me the 338 ammo lead dirt cheap. now that i shoot it it seems like more gun then what i need.

  • Tell that pan to make me some dinner

  • So what exactly do we learn from this video? Frying pans don't make good body armor?

  • that looks like a cheap walmart teflon one how about and grand mother frying pan just asking because i think i want to buy a 300 win mag

  • @guardian22553 Cheap walmart pan? No way, we went with *free* pan from the trash. Do we seem like a high dollar operation here?

  • @StoppingPowerInfo does this thing kick harder then a 30-06?

  • @MrPennyworth007 Can't say, I was by the camera, and wasn't the shooter on this one. I'll msg the guy who took the shot and ask him.

  • @MrPennyworth007 Yes, this is not a gun you will be shooting alot at the range. It will make your brain rattle in your skull and your shoulder feel like mush after 5-6 shots, and you WILL flinch when sending one down range.

  • @MrPennyworth007 the 300 kicks a lil bit harder than the 30-06 but not much

  • @MrPennyworth007 I would say it does.. I've shot both and the .300 win mag is quite potent..

  • @MrPennyworth007 yeah, in my experience, they do. One thats even worse than the win-mag is a weatherbee mag. They are a definate cannon.

  • @MrPennyworth007

Yes it kicks harder than a .308 or 30-06

just compare the cartridges and it becomes very obvious. surely some douche will go on about how his .300 wm doesn't kick as much as the .308 he tried at his buddies house, the rifles configuration can have a huge impact on the amount of recoil.

but apples to apples yes .300 WM is a beast

  • @maliqua420 thank you. may i ask if there are any bigger commercial caliber that has a good kick? besides the 50bmg. i know that as a recoil only a man could handle

  • @MrPennyworth007 45-70 government if you can shoot it more then 3 times in 1 min with out crying you get your man card

  • @MrPennyworth007

    Recoil Energy

    .308 Win, 8 lb. rifle - 17.2 ft. lbs.

    .30-06, 8 lb. rifle - 21.5 ft. lbs.

    .300 Mag, 8 lb. rifle - 27.7 ft. lbs.

    .338 Mag, 8 lb. rifle - 32.8 ft. lbs.

  • @jeepcj7dude Nice addition, thanks for doing that!

  • @StoppingPowerInfo

no problem Love my new Rem 300 win mag!!!

  • @MrPennyworth007 kicks twise as hard ' nothing to be afraid of ' if you can shoot a 870 wingmaster with 3 in mag ' you can shoot a 300 win mag

  • @StoppingPowerInfo That made me laugh off my chair.

  • @StoppingPowerInfo hahaha

  • @guardian22553 you are basing your decision to get a .300 on it's ability to put a hole in a frying pan? Try thinking about the size of the hole it makes in the animal you plan on eating. This round is way powerful and tears up lots of meat. Depending on what you are going to be hunting and where, a less cannon-like round might be a better choice. Just my humble opinion.

  • @guardian22553 ill say this i have one and it blows a cender block to pices and leaves nothing

  • I've seen air rifles shoot through frying pans at 100 meters.

  • @epicsr Not surprising if they're as flimsy as the one we shot.

  • @epicsr now thats a good air rifle!! What brand and model, please? I gotta get me one of THOSE.

  • @UpcomingJedi Well, it was achieved with those Chinese rifles. Shengchung or something. Look it up. It's a 9mm, but they also come in a whopping .50 cal! Imagine that. I've seen 'em fire (blow?) one of those at my local range. A couple of shots is enough to completely empty the airtank underneath the barrel. Instead, they connect the rifle straight to a scubatank, so they can have a bit more playtime. It's not a great airrifle though. It's Chinese quality, but it's very, very powerfull. MTFBWY.

  • Not very impressive considering the power of a .300 Win Mag.I am positive my M1 Garand (30-06) with Standard 150gr FMJ M2 Ball ammunition would have blasted through that frying pan at 100yrds like it wasn't even there. A better test would have been how many frying pans can a 300 Win Mag go through?

  • @PARR53 Honestly that's a fair point. Take a look at some of our tile or milk jug videos.

  • No contest.

You shoulda least scoped that fryin' pan.

  • Something that is worth mentioning is the ants that seem to take a liking to the syrofoam and carting it off! Perhaps they are the environmentalist here.

  • I'm disappointed :(

It's not cast iron! Damn walmart frying pan :(

  • was that one of jamie olivers pans?

  • "we're environmental" ROFL

  • i would have shot that ant

  • doesnt tell me much, last year i used a338 Lapua Mag to drop a guy behind a brick wall at 923 meters when we went to check we saw it went through his AK47 as well

  • @Diver661 Assuming your statement is true (sorry, but it is youtube), I would expect this doesn't show you squat you didn't know. We're just shooting the same target with different rounds to show the effects....

  • @StoppingPowerInfo i understand that it is youtube and you may not believe me but i did do wat i said i did. I also understand wat you are doin and it is still pretty cool, have you done one with a 30-06?

  • @Diver661 oh I'm not saying that, it's just hard to know for sure on youtube. I think we've got a cantaloupe vid on here with 30-06 -- none of us are using that rifle/round regularly is the problem...

  • thats crazy. if uve ever seen one of those concrete out houses in like national parks walls are like 2 inches of concrete each. ne ways i saw a guy shoot a .338 win mag in one side through the toilet and out the other side and it kept on going. a frying pan is fuck all!!

  • @lliamcoombs

Put down the crack pipe and stop being a liar

  • @cwelkman how bout ill keep the crack pipe and keep lying instead because i enjoy that shit

  • well your a dumbass be casue you saw tha one the history channel about the most inncredible US military sniper shot yeah guess what i saw that episode to

  • no sorry i didnt see that one but if you talk to my spotter he can confirm the shot

  • Well Not to be an ass but how Can we prove or disprove the shot?

  • Mom is gonna be pissed about her pan.

  • Ever shot a slug through a pan?

  • you mean the 300 rum? its harder on the barrels life time.

  • Man eating ants, watch out!

  • anything can punch through a pan... not very impressive

  • Sorry fellows, I thought I was still looking at a #00 ultra. 300 win mag is a great cartrige as well. But not nearly as powerful as a 300 ultra. Better for hunting though. The 300 ultra is used by some Navy Seal teams.

  • I have a Sendero 300 ultra. With 180 gr projectiles it will penetrate 3/4 steel plate at 300 yards. As if you had drilled it with a bit and drill. I've taken Elk at 500 yards. They drop in their tracks. Too large a gun for deer though.

  • how thick is the pan? like a quarter of an inch or so?

  • which type of bullet for the .300 win mag would you recommend for shooting metal?

  • wsm ( 300 wincheser short mag) is now bring used by military forces not the full size 300

  • now i cant cook my eggs :(

  • @Oxstayne There's always IHOP :)

  • @StoppingPowerInfo how'd yall steal his frying pan anyways lol

  • @StoppingPowerInfo Can you do a video of 300 win mag vs unopened soda?I hit one with 7 1/2 bird shot out of a 12 gauge and never found the quarter of it.And that is a light load

  • @Oxstayne dude i thought it was an iron skillet at first i was so upset those things rock

  • i know, but they're not used for basic infantry sniping. Only the more experienced shooters use them... and the .50 cal! Now THAT gun is intense

  • i used to own a 300 win mag. They were never really utilized by military forces because of the 45 pound kick. They found that most soldiers would flinch when they pulled the trigger, knowing the impact that was coming. Still, very effective at extreme range. PS, don't shoot at metal unless you have decent cover

  • the 300 win mag today is one of the most popular rifles used by the military special ops today

  • Not a bad video, but this is a bad example for other shooters. You should never shoot metal.

  • why? is it because of when it come back and might hit you?

  • Mostly.

  • .22LR mini mags went through an aluminium frying pan at approx. 25 meters when I fired it out of a rifle. Failed to penetrate when fired out of a pistol.

  • lol damn. You got some balls to shoot at a frying pan at 25 meters with a fucking .22!

  • what the fuck are you talking about, that is not a .22 you fucking idiot!!!!!!!

  • You are the obvious dumb fuck here mr headbusta. It was not about this video. It was about Korenen81's comment which I will quote here.

".22LR mini mags went through an aluminium frying pan at approx. 25 meters when I fired it out of a rifle."-Korenen81

And my comment was that he had balls to do that. You should learn to read in the future before talking shit.....

  • It looks like the frying pan has a face now :)

  • I'd like to see that gun shoot through one of Paula Dean's bad ass Walmart pans!

    LOL

  • a .243 Win with an 80gr s.p. will go through my 3/8" steel pattern plate at 40 yards no problem...

  • I'm not surprised by that. We're just putting videos out there to compare between different rounds/firearms/effects.

  • lol, i can do that with my .22 LR

  • keep on dreaming buddy. unless that bullet went 1500 fps and had full metal jacket

  • ill go get my .22 and a fry pan, subscribe me and a video will come in a month or so.

  • 22 is soft lead. and less than 30 grain.

  • there are 60 grain .22lr bullets!! only 920fps though.

  • dumbass? 22 is not a 60 grain. a 243 win is 55. your full of it.

  • idk dude he might be telling the truth 223 is almost 22 and you can get those in 65

  • Hey retard! just because you've never heard of a 60 grain .22lr bullet does not mean I'm full of it. search for Aguila SSS ammo.

  • Dinner.

  • this reminds me of my dads 300 win. mag, we took it out to a feild and shot 2x4's at 330 yards. it was so nasty b/c the things would explode then you hear BOOM

  • LOL cant have dinner now

  • why am I not surprised? imagine that a .300 win mag went through a frying pan, a 7.62x39 could hav done that! it would have been cool if U put it through 2 or 3 frying pans, but 1 frying pan for a 300??? Thats just disrespectful, LOL

  • It's just for comparison to the rest of the rounds. I agree that it wasn't a terribly surprising result, but for people looking at .300 Win Mag only, it's another piece of data.

  • my TX200SR Air Rifle goes through a frying pan man! SHOOT MEAT!

  • You can always check out the cantaloupe videos... :-)

  • hes shooting thru cast iron you idiot

  • You can't have environmental without first having mental.

But it's awesome how that just went through and didn't wait for the pan to move out of the way. I was shooting at a steel plate, and I had a few M855 steel core rounds, and the lead won't make it through the plates, but the steel core goes through surprisingly well.

  • try using a "real" frying pan and then post it.

  • I'm not sure what you mean, exactly, but the plates I was shooting there were 1/2" thick hard steel. I have a video of me hitting it with lead from my carbine. I have some 1" thick ones to test out, but I need to get to the range first.

  • wish that stuff would kill the ants

  • Heh, we're trying to be green though ;-)

  • True what do u use the styrofoam for?
