It is agreed that it is a fair test before the psychic even enters the test. A panel of independent judges also are agreed upon.

In a later interview, Hydrick himself explained that he had developed the ability to blow with a lot of force yet not look or sound like he was blowing. Plus, all that hand and body movement distracts people from his face. AND, Randi explained that Hydrick refused to wear a lapel mic for this test (which definitely would have picked up his blowing).
