  • does anyone else think that "Day is Done" and "Tell Laura I Love Her" have sort of fimilar tunes?

  • Their music will speak across the ages. Too bad Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney cannot hear it. One can only hope that all who HAVE heard them, and been moved, rise up on election day 2012 and relegate the purveyors of discord and hate to the cluttered dustbins of history. "Oh, when will they ever learn."

  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful....

  • My father used to sing this song to me back in the 70s. It will always be part of me.

  • our own kids grew up listening to PPM and John Denver - we had a tape deck in their nursery, and they loved it as much as listening to Barmey singing childrens songs. recently, my 19 year son and i were in Walmart and saw a rack of old songs, and bought a handful of them, passing up a game he had planned to get....he had missed the old music that much!

  • I LOVE PETER PAUL AND MARY.. then and NOW! HOW THEY COULD RAISE OUR SOULS and SPIRITS! MISS YOU SWEET MARY!

  • There is no other group, never will be like these incredible singers....God's gift to us all... Mary is singing with the angels now...

  • A place in time that society forgot . . . . when music was cool, groovy & innocent and lyrics were clean and people were pure and unspoiled . . . unlike today ~ how they serve our kids a bunch of FILTH where lyrics of gang-sta rap & hip hop- are full of profanity, recording artists are horny sexual beings portrayed in videos & pop stars are admired for getting into hot water with the law - WHAT kind of CRAPis that ??? Just another example of the deterioration of the very fabric that holds us up.

  • @Korvinski "and you're a mormon?"

sorry if your precious little snowflake found out it gets hot out here and took off all its clothes...

  • they harminize soooooooo well!!!!!!!

  • this is really beautiful!

  • great music ..... love it wish i did watch them in their concerts

  • This song has been a favourite of mine since I was a kid

  • I used to listen to this song with my mom and I love Peter, Paul and Mary. Through the years I was constantly asking my mom the meaning of this song and one day she told me that I will only understand this when I already have a children of my own. Now, I have a wonderful son, Kapono, I now understand the meaning of this song.. =)

  • And to think, thos was a "protest-folk group". Maybe-maybe not.

  • I love this song...

  • I'm glad that one of the "power groups" that I got to bring my kids to see in concert was PP&M...

  • They were great performers and talented songsters.

  • I remember being the lead singer for this song way back when I was 15 for a school function - aprox 36 years ago. Brings back good memories.

  • Today's music and musicians has no heart. No other way to describe it. God rest the big lady with the big voice and the even bigger heart. The music in heaven is, I am certain, much better now.

  • @bigbadfitter I agree with you, perfect.

  • @bigbadfitter I am an artist and musician and I think I have a lot of heart. My mom and dad were bluegrass gospel country blues folk rock musicians though. Maybe they didn't think so because they were almost famous. They loved music and they were creative. They had two kids and passed it on. Is that not what it's all about?

  • My dad had a favorite little joke; What has 6 legs and to big breasts? Peter Paul and Mary. 30 years after he's been gone, his sense of humor and PPM's beautiful music still comfort me.

  • They need to release this concert on DVD!

  • Beautiful.........miss you Ms Mary T......I've loved you all since day 1 back in the very early 60's at the age of 9/10

  • This is one song I can't listen to without crying.

  • my baby boy loves this song. He has it in book form aswell. These guys are great!

  • Wonderful video of this very popular PP&M song. Mary is truly "at her best" in voice during this period and - her animated movements to the song showcase her beauty and grace prior to her days of illness. Thank you so much for posting this!
