I remember the first time I heard Room Noises. I had never heard of Eisley before. A good friend put this CD in; we were driving down a long desert highway to work. I knew as soon as I heard her voice I would love them. Just knew it. Never had that happen before...And Room Noises remains as one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever heard.

I've listened to this album literally hundreds of times and I still feel like it is one of the most underrated albums made in the last 10 years.

@BlushRosie For about 10 years or so. They formed the band in when Stacy (keys/vocals) was only 8 years old. Had their first tour (with Coldplay) 2002. Released their debut album around 2005 :)

While she is wonderful, I think what makes them sound so beautiful is the fact that they all sound very similar... but have their different inflections and you can tell them apart. Their younger sister, Christie, also sounds a lot like them. The DuPree family is just overall astounding.

the song is clearly about a husband who loves his wife dearly, passes away, and the woman continues to keep a garden, and see beautiful things around her ('god's gifts' to some) flowers, other life, nature, etc. and she wonders why her husband had to go and where he is now, but eventually realizes he is probably in a better place and telling her through the beautiful melodies she also hears and the things she sees with her eyes.
