Check out Dieter Loibner's 'The Folkboat Story' where the differences between Nordic Folkboat and other legitimate versions are covered. It is full of interesting aperçus, such as that only Finnish and UK Folkboats race with spinnakers . . .
Congratulations on winning the Round The Island Race: a staggering feat for an elderly Folkboat and her crew!
"Do not paint the inside of the hull" - This advice was given to me also a few years ago. However my British Folkboat - FB 201 (built 1950) - has ALWAYS been painted white inside and the teak hull planking is still in mint condition. I'd say a lot depends on the choice of wood :-)
And yes, gschhjetne, this is DEFINITELY a Folkboat - with an all-wood carvel hull.
Agreed it is not a Nordic. It is a Folkboat of Great Britain and sports a FB in the mainsail to show it as such. In all measurement parameters it is the same as a Nordic just carvel planked rather than clinker (lapstraked)
Thanks for your comments

Do not paint the inside of the hull, as the outside is painted, it will trap moisture in the wood. Inside should be linseed oiled and kept "unsealed"
Linseed oil and balsamic turpentine.
Keel pocket can be painted the first boards however.

That's no Folkboat! Looks more like an IF-boat or something, with the carvel hull.
