Mike's music for Owen has literally changed my life. During some of the hardest times of my life I used to go walking for hours with Owen just constantly playing on my iPod. Truth is Mike's lyrics and melodies aren't simple enough for most people. Most people i've shown him too simply don't get him. That's why he hasn't gotten the fame he deserves. I'm not one to complain though. The fact I know of noone else that listens to him make his songs so much more personal and relatable for me.

I actually think in general his lyrics in Owen are very good. In American Football, they sounded great during the song, but when you wanted to quote them say somewhere it could be hard to because they just didn't always stand out on their own. I try to quote them still as there are a couple lines here and there that are quotable........ but they often sound best while hearing the song.
