@x3Moonwalker I liked the dub but I had to see the sub as well because it was years since I'd seen it. One thing I liked was they didn't put two voices in the Bio-Merge (saying Matrix just gets confusing) so that whole "everybody else doesn't know we've merged together" thing makes sense. The dub kind of made that thing redundant.

I dislike the Japanese voices for most of Digimon XD. Mostly cuz they usually don't seem to fit. And, hey, though the music is different and cool alone, for evolutions it isn't as exciting! xD imo tho.

You're right, there came a point when it stopped making sense, but honestly I liked the idea that Rika had a male digimon because it matched her character and made their relationship interesting. On the other hand, being a female makes Renamon an even stronger personality.

Usually,Digimon's programed genders tend to be same as the partners.

There was once a scene where gomamon(from Digimon 1) was joining a bath with the human girls and the digimon partners and gomamon was kicked out because he was considered to be male.

The more I see it, the more I'm sure: if you turn the images to make the D'arcs match in direction when they are slashing the cards, Takato slashes it in the opposite direction (from the upper part of the D'arc to the lower; the others slash it otherwise).

@joshuay54 Yeah I agree, it was a stupid idea to put the characters nude during the second type of Matrix Evolution (Biomerge digivolution in U.S. version). At least they have removed the private parts, and Ruki (Rika)'s chest is covered by those spinning digital things. In Frontier, nudity happened again during Hyper-Spirit Evolution, I wonder what the producers are thinking....???
