  • I saw them in Kansas City about 8 years ago, and they's still great!!!! The whole

    audience had a ball!!!!!!

  • I love Dr. Hook and the MS..what strikes me now after all these years is Ray and Dennis are all manic and the band are all cool and static..LOL

  • one dislike, im glad im in the 99.9 percentile

  • No Good??? The words are pure. They touch my soul. Some people have the gift of fame - whatever - I was never into that. If I could only write my song, it would be this good. Thank you for sharing your gift with me. 1d1jvl@gmail.com

  • I love em all those Rock n Roll Bands. This is very compassionate song for building people up. Help those around you.

  • I love this group, many many hours of musical enjoyment, and such fun. I'm really spoke to in the lyrics of Carry Me Carrie. I want to meet this man, look into his eyes and help him, carry him so to speak. We've all seen these guys, and now I feel I want to do more than just be an observer. Thank you for this song that has touched my heart. . . .

  • The two sides of Dr. Hook. the fun "Cover of the Rolling Stone" side and their deeper more poignant side.

This in arguably them at their best at the latter.

"Then i heard him shouting something 'bout a mountain

he could surely climb, if she was only there to point

    the right direction"

  • Love this song... Think we should all carry each other around some more :)

Dennis and Ray always put on a show like nothing else - when they was on stage they was ON 999% giving every thing they got to there show and music... I once heard someone ask Dennis what he was on when he was on stage and he replied "what do you mean, I was on STAGE!"..... absolutely fantastic band

  • Whoever posted this. ( Thanks ) What a performance. Always been a fan of Dennis Locorriere and Dr Hook. Did anyone see their show at the L.A. County Fair in the early 70's.. His rendition of Slyvia's Mother was like this video of (Carry Me Carrie)

  • These guys are great!

  • I saw these guys So many times i can't count em. I still love them. But this song will always be my favorite.Rock n roll at it's best.

  • I love this song

  • Can't believe anyone would not love this song. But then I like songs that tell a story. Would like to see the bad reviews they got on this song.

  • why would anybody say no to this song

  • Im Carrie. :)

  • My opinion, Dennis Locorriere's unique voice and talent is second to none, and that includes Elvis and Sinatra. Please spend some time listening to him on YouTube, and you will see what I am saying. I'm not talking about charisma or his stage presence or name recognition. But his beautiful voice and delivery. Dennis never misses a word or a note. Perfection.

  • The best white soul singer on the planet. . . .

  • George on the slide guitar.

  • Awesome steel ride...I don't remember that being in the original.

  • Excellent video... ol' Ray's feeling no pain LOL
