had that rattling as well with my hurst. the hurst rattling is the 2 bolts coming loose from the shifter to the tranny. pull the boot off and tighten with allen key. put locktite and keep an allen key in your glove box. ratlling gone!
do you have a hurst shifter?? i ask because at exactly 2:00 minutes there is a rattling noise and i have the hurst and mine makes that same damn noise. how much rwhp you making?? i also have the same blower im just now getting mine broke in so i can put the smaller pulley on it :) should make 470 or so rwhp! dont wanna do too much since its the stock bottom end..
Yep, the hurst. I usually don't even hear it anymore, or hand usually on the handle. I have read on mustangforum how to fix, but haven't done. I haven't dyno'd yet, but Brenspeed estimates I will be about 420 rwhp. The recommend staying under 440-450 to keep the stock internals internal LOL. This is probably as far as I take it.
ha i knew it! the rattling is pretty annoying but oh well.. and yea im having Strictly Performance here in Houston work on mine and they say as long as i stay at about 460-470 i should be fine. I guess if I throw a rod or eight i will just have to build it to handle the power. its a pretty penny tho so I'm gonna try to avoid it.

the super shaker is a supercharger also. it adds about 150 hp and produces the whine that you're hearing. its not the regular shaker by cdc.

It is the hurst shifter. There is a fix for it but cant remember it off the top of my head. nothing is wrong so unless it bugs you just leave it.
