seems that you are true. i've look for fsuipc and seems that realy you can recive data from FS and use them for other porpuse. like your simulator.

fake your using a joystick controller for the game and a mindstorms nxt program for the robot plane that senses what is happening in the simmulator but very good way of faking it you could be realy good at lego robotics @( ' ' )@ :-)

Actually, Microsoft Flight Sim has a pretty neat API that allows you to do some pretty cool stuff with it. Grabbing this data would be no sweat.
