There is something dangling on a rope from the top of the vertical stabilizer, anyone know what that is and what it is for?

Respond to this video...I wasn't in the hangar..I was in the Assembly building for the tour. (Assuming you had the guy with the red sideburns?) I doubt the public gets to get in a hangar, as I think the only hangar there is probably the paint hangar.

(and I'm in the middle of a trip, and I'm close to the other US location where Dreamlifters park..)

Funny thing..the 787 is actually a bit longer than a 767.. length usually doesn't affect how far something can go..it's the weight!

That is so cool. I like at how it takes off so quiet. I like at how boeing makes shorter aircraft like the 787 go further.
