  • Gotta go with Home Explosion on this....clean & haunting. Always liked this piece and this is a great version.

  • i dont get it, in clockwork orange they used a song from queen marys funeral

  • @Damukra This is the procession from the funeral of queen mary

  • @Kg363 yeah, but they also used it in clockwork orange

  • Was that vodka you drank in the end. I hope so. If not, this was über lameness.

  • I loved your ending

  • Amazing, it sounds like the official version.

  • Fantastic

  • Amazingly played.

  • @HomeExplosion - ........yea.....WHAT! oh sorry, too busy being....mezmerized! :)

  • This is a classic piece of music from the 17th century by Purcell, a famous Brit organist and composer. This is about Queen Mary I, daughter of Henry the Eighth and Catherine of Aragon. She tried to turn England back to catholic, and created headaches for all and sundry.

Lizzy the First came after her - now that was a Queen, right out of the mould of Harri the Eighth

  • @closertofiftythanyew BIG OOPS! Got my Queen Marys mixed up there.

It was for Queen Mary II's funeral in 1694 of course. Only time there was a joint reign - William III and Marry II at the same time.

  • The guitar in the back, is that a Wayne?

  • ROFLMFAO @ 2:33

  • Although I would have liked the drum parts played more staccato (after all, rather than being merely percussive instruments, them LITERALLY are a part of the melody), you've performed an extremely smooth and graceful version of this piece. Kubrick's entrance using such a calm piece contrasts with the rest of the movie in an amazing way.

  • Nothing short of Excellent!!!

  • Oh my god.. that's just.. awesome.

  • Fantastic!

  • good water!

  • i want a son of you !

  • If I could play like that, I'd be happy. Beautiful!

  • OMG

  • deep sound. great

  • Real horrowshow droogie.

  • awesome

  • can you show me how to play someone

  • i'm damnedyou think you're clever until you see/hear/read something like this! in 1694 or so? could have been written last week and would still make the hairs on your arm stand up -- she must have been a hell of a queen!

  • Stunningly perfect

  • Holy shit man. I shivered with that!

  • that is on point me droog

  • amazing!

  • Fantastic! Great job!

  • Good rendition man, the anal retentive bastards that copyrighted this ancient song form like 400 years ago are bunch of jackasses, this should be public domain and the intro to Clockwork Orange freely posted wherever. Good job though it's very close.

  • I bet he has some strange stuff on his computer!

  • I´ve listened to several covers on youtube and this has to be the best! Well done! Thanks for sharing this!

  • This is remarkably done. I have always thought what Wendy Carlos has done was eccentric to say the least. I really prefer your take on it ; though similar yet in my mind and admiration far better done. Well done, this will be on my favorites for years to come :)

  • best version of it.. and the one closes to the version in the movie.. that i could find

  • this is the best version on youtube i believe.

  • do u kno what key this is in

  • best I can tell, the chord sequence is:

    C Fm C / Cm Ab G / Gm Cm D Gm / Eb Ab Bb Eb / Cm Fm G Cm

Place this twice followed immediately by a glass of Korova.

  • play...PLAY!

  • PRETTY FUCKING AMAZING MAN!!! ...I would like to hear a creation you have made

  • lol

  • Tilt the keyboard up a little...I'm trying to get the notes.

  • superb

  • best cover ever heard on web

  • Best cover ever on the webs

  • I was only 13y old when I first heard this music. Just amazing along with the 9th LvB's synphony. Thank you for giving me such a renewed emotion.

    Sergio

  • I was about 8, it's the most haunting thing in my life, this will be with me forever.

  • i was talkikng to video poster

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • badass

  • awesome

  • do you have the same guitar as me?

  • Great work!

  • i want to drink milk

  • There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie and Dim and we sat in the Korova milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova Milk Bar sold milkplus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence. Our pockets were full of money so there was no need on that score, but, as they say, money isn't everything.

  • Lovely

  • Even though it's not perfect, it's still SICK!!!

  • real horror show

  • This is abso-fucking-loutley amazing! You are brilliant!

  • Can you please post the midi file of this tune??? PLEASE??? YOU ARE AMAZINGGGG

  • Google it!

  • This sounds a lot more modernized than anything. It's like if they remade it to be used in a remake (I hope they don't do that, if they do let it be an indie film).

  • this is so amazing and i agree with Mikey!!!

  • well done

  • Out of all the versions on youtube, this is the first one I've come across that has soul!

  • it's perfect

  • excelent

  • so creepy and dark, i love it, gotta bring this out into the light, wondering if i can make a dance music redo with vocals... can it be done, we will see

  • Once again, with all the version of the clockwork orange theme up on youtube, this is the best!

  • this guy really rocks

  • I second this. Nicely done..

  • wow! your really good! 5/5

  • Well well well welly welly well. I haven't been this blown away with Henry Purcell since originally seeing A Clockwork Orange in the theater in 1972. Wow, 5/5.

  • Really good rendition, I like your style dude.

  • Great!

    I missed this piece.

  • Its like looking at God in the music is majestic.

  • There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim.

And we sat in the Korova Milk Bar trying to make up our rassodooks what to do with the evening.

  • vodka or water?

  • clinton sparks!

  • good job, enjoyed

  • this is beautifully done :D

  • One of the best versions Ive heard (other than the film!). Id like to hear this at my funeral. :)

  • Friggin' marvelous!! I like your playing style.

  • Real horrowshow, and I do mean beautiful.

  • It's funny that for many people, this sort of interpretation is the only one they know. But if Purcell heard this, I am sure he would be intrigued. I like electronic and non-electronic interpretations both.
