I absolutely love this piece of music and this version especially you do a wonderful job of sendig the veiwer ( or listener to be more precise) into another place in time and in space you create a very good vibe to this timeless classic I was brought up on the soundtrack to Clockwork orange among others and this one takes me back to the days of my emerging self well done and I fink you look larvelly too but sound even better
Viddy well my brother, real horror show...Of that there is no doubt ...........You just gave a very old pair of missions 735s a tolchcoking making angels trumpets and devils trombones in a way they haven't in aeons..
thanks for this one, it served as my final broadcast during the deletion of my facebook account! it was the best peace / interpretation for that occasion.
oh bliss, bliss and heaven....... oh it was gorgeousness and gourgeosity made flesh.. nice video great job my brother you played that song real horrorshow
i could feel all the malankylizards climbing up my spine whilst listeneng to this masterpiece, wendy carlos would raise a glass of the old moloko plus, nay moloko vellocette . have one yourself sir. well done!!
O, you skilled chelloveck, you. This wonderful piece of mastery was a real horrorshow piece to slooshy, and I loved every minoota of it. Viddy well, o my brothers, for this is a masterpiece.
This is a classic piece of music from the 17th century by Purcell, a famous Brit organist and composer. This is about Queen Mary I, daughter of Henry the Eighth and Catherine of Aragon. She tried to turn England back to catholic, and created headaches for all and sundry.
Lizzy the First came after her - now that was a Queen, right out of the mould of Harri the Eighth
Although I would have liked the drum parts played more staccato (after all, rather than being merely percussive instruments, them LITERALLY are a part of the melody), you've performed an extremely smooth and graceful version of this piece. Kubrick's entrance using such a calm piece contrasts with the rest of the movie in an amazing way.
i'm damnedyou think you're clever until you see/hear/read something like this! in 1694 or so? could have been written last week and would still make the hairs on your arm stand up -- she must have been a hell of a queen!
Good rendition man, the anal retentive bastards that copyrighted this ancient song form like 400 years ago are bunch of jackasses, this should be public domain and the intro to Clockwork Orange freely posted wherever. Good job though it's very close.
This is remarkably done. I have always thought what Wendy Carlos has done was eccentric to say the least. I really prefer your take on it ; though similar yet in my mind and admiration far better done. Well done, this will be on my favorites for years to come :)
There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie and Dim and we sat in the Korova milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova Milk Bar sold milkplus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence. Our pockets were full of money so there was no need on that score, but, as they say, money isn't everything.
This sounds a lot more modernized than anything. It's like if they remade it to be used in a remake (I hope they don't do that, if they do let it be an indie film).
so creepy and dark, i love it, gotta bring this out into the light, wondering if i can make a dance music redo with vocals... can it be done, we will see
Well well well welly welly well. I haven't been this blown away with Henry Purcell since originally seeing A Clockwork Orange in the theater in 1972. Wow, 5/5.
It's funny that for many people, this sort of interpretation is the only one they know. But if Purcell heard this, I am sure he would be intrigued. I like electronic and non-electronic interpretations both.
