@jmk1a1 it's less to do with "boogers" and more to do with flushing out dust, mold, dander and the like. The procedure actually helps moisturize rather than dry out.
@Dreamydre15 that's not a neti pot. a real neti pot requires you to bend over almost to 90 degrees and tilt the head far to the side. that's where most people screw up and end up pouring down their windpipe.
i don't know what that product she's using is called but it's pretty much the same thing as a syringe mothers use to flush their babies' sinuses.
She does it like a pro doesn't she!? With a little courage and an open mind anyone can do it as well as Rachel! She loves demonstrating for people and always says it feels good afterwards!
