Aha! I "freaking love this song" (and movie), Mr Porteous. The follow-up to JP Hartley's "Fly-Fishing" book particularly tickled my fancy. It seems that, in two months, I'm the first to give you a star rating, but then I'll slap five stars on anything.
It enojoyed a glorious summer - a straight run of 5 stars from beginning to end. Even whoever it was that flagged it as totally inappropriate couldn't bring themselves to say it was less than funny.
Morse and Lewis needs their own tv-show.

I agree completely. But there would need to be some kind of hook to bring the viewers back - other than the filth.
...Perhaps they could solve crimes.

I wanted to write a musical. Unfortunately I've always had a great talent for not being able to play an instrument or understand musical notation.
And my attempts to befriend Andrew Llyod Webber have all ended in restraining orders of increasing magnitude.
