General Petraeus was successful in Iraq because he actually brought former insurgent commanders into direct negotions with his field commanders. Now Gen Petraeus is commander of USCENTCOM which is responsible for the entire middle east. Now if only Gen Petaeus could actually teach Bush on how this whole diplomacy/negotiation thing works, we might prevent a war with Iran.

BTW - The day that the U.S. or Israel attacks Iran, the U.S. economy will virtually collapse (oil prices etc...)
