I pjones pretty good if you get a 3Gs and upgrade to the 4 software so it doesnt have all the bugs like the actual iPhone 4, thats wat i did and it works grwat and you get alot more costomization with the update.  Im not saying the iPhone is better than droid, everybody has their favorite.

If you like simple with limited options and a closed system, the iPhone is for you.  If you like an open system with a ton of customization, the Droid is unbeatable.

I've had and played with the iPhone a shit ton and I now have a Droid. It hands down stomps the iPhone without question.

Of course apple ipods have more apps. But both of my brothers have ipod touches that are pretty much the same as an phone, so I can play on their ipods sometimes. What do you all think? Should I get a motorola droid? Is there something else that is better to invest money (also time of working) into? I'm only 13 turning 14 in June. My Mom and Dad think I don't need a cell-phone. How could I convince them? PS. I don't get allowance from my Parents if that is what you are thinking!

AT&T,T-mobile, Sprint etc will all eventually be bought by Verizon. I've used ALL of them in many different areas, Verizon are greedy price gouching bastards like any other provider, but at least when you open your phone you always can use it.

Until something changes I'll continue to pay Verizon.

If Apple ever makes a Verizon version of the Iphone I will buy two on launch day. ATT service is horrible and I tried to stay and give them a chance to make it right. But I could not use my phone at work or school 90% of the time which is where I needed to use it 90% of the time. I would rather give my 225 a month to a company that provides what they promise.

I was with AT&T for almost 7 years. I bought the Iphone, the 3G, and the 3GS. I canceled my AT&T account last week because I am sick of the poor coverage area. I go to college and had no service on campus, and only spotty coverage at my job, and I live in a huge city. I went with Verizon and have great coverage. I may buy the droid to replace my Iphone, because the Iphone is just an Ipod touch without a signal. Its worthless to me if I cant make a call. I wont give ATT 225 a month anymore.

Made by Motorola, Powered by Google, and connected by Verizon. This phone was okay, like I'm not going to say it was horrible, but compared to the iPhone it didn't add up. I think if you didn't come from the iPhone you'd probably love it. As for HTC, they make higher quality phones but I wouldn't say they're always amazing. Before the iPhone I got the HTC Fuze and it was a horrible piece of crap. And it cost $300 at the time versus $200 for iPhone at the time. More money doesn't equal good.

I would say the interface was horrible. Use an iPhone if you haven't use the droid, don't just jump into the droid without knowing first.

Droid is the software.. so u got the Motorola Droid n the HTC Droid...

I got my Motorola Droid n its jss amazing.. i really enjoy the voice search navigation u can also voice search in google.. n the 5 MP with Flash.. i can finally take pix in the dark.. also i like how i can customize my home screen any way i want to.. n the list goes on.. the iPhone is cool.. but the Droid simply has things the iPhone doesn't except the # of apps but still whos gonna use all 100000 apps?? i love the droid

Android 2.0 is the software and Droid is a type, but good point for mentioning that because I was only barely aware of another kind in the store so thanks for clarifying. Yes, the Droid does have several things that the iPhone doesn't have, but from what I'm gathering its not as good as the hype. Palm Pre was pretty cool in its own way but there were many things that made me want the iPhone instead. Soto each their own, I'm just saying I'm happier with my iPhone for now until something new comes

the only reason people say they like the iphone is because they don't want to admit that they wasted a shitload of money (at least the the initial launch) to buy a phone that will only get signal right next to the fucken tower. i want an iphone... kinda, but only if it's on verizon. seriously dude, admit you're wasting your money.
