  • Is that ben 10?

  • How fast do they grow? email me

  • @MrNickycman it depends on how much you do a water change..

  • how fast do they grow?

  • Where did you get them?

  • @jtangjerd I got them at a Local Fish Store..

  • did you breed them or by them this small

  • @gardenkids I bought them small :)

  • hey im wondering what i should feed my future baby piranahs when they are about that size? and also how long should i feed it that until it can handle goldsifh or steak or whatever

    thanksss

  • @masterofuselessness I would recommend brine shrimp.. and then when they are about the size of a nickel you can put Guppies in there.. that's what i started mine on after the shrimp... then about the size of a quarter you can feed it minnow size fish.. but they won't eat it all.. just the soft parts.. so you'll have to clean out the rest.. but make sure you start them chasing young and they'll be easy to watch when they get older..

  • @kaleigh79

thank you very much also, are you saying to put in goldfish and small fish asap?

  • @masterofuselessness no.. start them with brine shrimp or bloodworms and then all the others i said as they grow.. the guppies should be small.. they should be able to either take two bites or swallow it whole.. it will teach them to catch their food..

  • @kaleigh79 tyvm

  • @masterofuselessness definatly dont feed them steak or hamburger meat or another kinda meat with alot of the there can't digest fat and it will drive them to an very early grave also I wouldn't recomend to many goldfish or to many guppies. . . esp feeder guippies cause they are bred fast and in large amounts = diesease and sickness . . . same with goldfish . . .feed them flakes at this size few feeder guppies if any bloodworms or night crawlers (have to clean what they dont eat)

  • @blu91283 caps lock doesn't make it more believable.. if you're gona lie.. atleast make it good..

  • how big were they then? in the vid?

  • damn i live in chicago and got mine for 3 bucks and thier the same size i think u got ripped off

  • @t0ny1321 ok well you show me another place close to me where i can buy them and i would gladly go there..

  • Look at my video im hand feeding my piranha

  • thats pricey!!! i live in uk, i get babies slightly bigger than that for £2.50 each!! that is about 1.75 in dollars....

  • are you using the british pound?

  • yeah

  • @kaleigh79 you dont even know that is a british pound symbol and you keep an aquarium of fish you dont even know what type they are? hahaha how dumb are these americans???

  • @mylofox2020 what! you don't like my goldfish?! you know the ones that should cost 2.50 pounds or 1.70 dollars as the conversion goes... lmfao

  • @mylofox2020 smarter than u lmao

  • @scottswald its actually about $5 mate

  • @scottswald tou a ver ke sabes fazer converçoes...

  • where you get them

  • im from ontario canada and for them from my local fish store for $20 each.

  • for real 20dollars each as babies? babies at my local fish store were 5 dollars, adults 15 and full grown piranhas were 30 lol

  • yup.. $20 each.. where do you live?

  • in Michigan.

  • you're lucky you get them for such a good price.. it sucks that we have to pay what LFS wants cause there isnt any other place close that sells them :(

  • yeah it really does suck but listen to this, I have to tropical fish stores in my area, the first one was the only one I thought sold piranhas, and they were 60dollars each! I almost payed for it too, but I found it alot cheaper.

  • oh wow $20 each

    i live in toronto ontario

and i get them for $6 each and if u buy 6 they give u one free

  • can you send me some.. lol..jk.. i only live 4 hours from you :)

  • LOL too bad those lil cute fish will turning into badass lil bastards

  • so cute and tiny

  • ben 10 yes i have a bro

  • do i hear magic school bus in the backround?

  • lol i remember once at my cuzins house they had like 6 piranhas and the next day only 4 were left with 2 piranha heads floting

  • whats that your feeding them . Im having trouble finding something mine will eat thats inexpensive

  • well its best to give the brine shrimp and stuff like that when they are young.. when older you can give them minnows instead of feeder fish..

  • they are so cool

  • wow theyre so cute and tiny

  • how much did you get them for and where? kool vid

  • I saw this cool looking piranha once i have no idea what species it was it looked exactly like a RBP but instead of it's belly being red it was eletric blue.Any idea what it could have been?

  • hey,

i set my tank up for RBP n ima get them soon, i got a powerful filter, 76F water, and what else should i do to my tank to ready them for the piranhas? oh by the way, lol 10 gallons for the win!! im gettin 4 2' RBP !! i kno im pushing it haha

  • i want to get 5 baby red bellies... what should i put them in and how fast do they grow... if i need to switch to a different tank when should and how big should the tank be

  • i would go 2 per tank.. about 20 gallons each full grown is good.. babies will live with each other til about 1.5-2 inches in length.. pairs is best.. the bigger the tank the better.. but i had my babies in a 10 gallon nursing tank for a couple weeks then i moved them to a 55..

  • red bellies are shouling fish and are best in groups of 5 or more, they do ok in 2's but i like to give them as happy life as i can. i still think yours are cute, mine have been eating loads, 4 days in a row of feeding and they still go mad when i go near the tank.

  • Comment removed

  • sorry but you cant keep 3 in a tank..

  • Comment removed

  • sure you did.. also if you're no help.. please dont comment on my vids.. not just that "experts say" bull honkey..

  • Comment removed

  • are you listening to yourself right now.. you're talking like a child... lol... fuck this.. fuck you.. blah blah.. lmfao.. also i did do research.. you really should learn how to state your side without swearing like a big baby... (baby stomps feet and pouts) listen to what i say or ill cry and swear... hahahahahaha

  • how come you cant keep 3? i just purchased 3 quarter sized babies.... if its a prob i will go get 2 more or something tomorrow?

  • you actually can if you have the right amount of space.. i was just being as ass back to the guy :) if you have a 55 gallon you should be good.. more would be better.. when you have only three there is a good chance that 2 will pair up and kill the odd one cause of territory... but if you have a big enough tank and keep them well fed you should not have any problems.. just keep and eye on them and see if they chase each out of a corner or something..

  • welllllp to late haha because of you being a ass i went out and bought 2 more 2day.. got a pretty good deal on them since they were last 2.. got both for $10 so couldnt say no.. right now they are all in a 40g with plenty of hiding and all are schooling already but that tank is temporary until i can get my 125g for my cichlids and then these guys will be moved into a 70g

  • its best to not keep 3 in a tank.. will be best for them.. hiding spots are great.. how many Cichlids do you have? and how big are they?

  • i have a couple little vids of the cichlids up... tanks are totally dif now but gives ya a general idea.. they are mainly peacock cichlids...range from 2inches up to 6inches.. alll get along %100 and its a breeding setup males and females in there and i pull about 100-150 fry every 2-3weeks im thinking thats gona be my food source for a little bit

  • that will be a great source of food.. they will learn to hunt for their food.. if you can.. they like long tanks with lots of floor space.. would be best.. i like those tanks you have.. really nice.. hope you put a vid with your new babies.. i would love to see them..

  • i got 8, they go mad when i feed them, how often do you feed them?

    they dont look that hungry,

    they are cute though.

  • they werent really hungry.. i just wanted to see if the would nibble on something.. i love mine.. when they were a it bigger then this.. maybe 1/3 the size of a minnow.. they would hunt the minnow... amazing how smart they are and how fast they can be..

  • i live in fla they said its against the law in fl to have them , but i still want some

  • Im sorry to hear that.. They're so amazing to watch.. They were chasing minnows when they were about the size of a quarter, it was great to see them team up on it at such a young age..

  • where can i get some, i live in the usa, in fla,

  • I would call your Local Fish Shop.. not Pet Smart or anything like that.. any place that sell salt water fish should also have them..

  • how old are these approxx ?

    thanks

  • you can't keep 12 in a 55 not enough room they will run out of room and start nipping eachother more I've been keeping piranha for 5 years if there is to many there growth will slow down until you remove 2 until 4 or 6 are kept and they will get very dark when they run out of room 2,4,6 no more if the tank isnt big enough and that includes rocks plants I keep just gravel so they have more room mine are in a tank 48Lx18Wx30H and water changes every 2 wks hope that helps. try this 15 gal per fish.

  • that's great help.. thanks you..

  • lol, Ben 10 in the background. talking about shorties XD

  • hehehehehehe got the exact same thing soooooo cute

  • they're too cute! i'm training mine to point at particular objects for food. she's so cute.

  • so CUTE!

  • Cartoon network on the TV :)

  • does anyone no wat kind these are

  • red bellies. are you the one that put a question in Y/A??

  • thats cool i just bout some a little smaller than that i still have mine on brine shrimp what is that there eating

  • cant piranhas kill you?

  • in big numbers

  • no they can't

  • its not always best to get them when there this small if you want viscious meen crazy ones then there best if there wild caught and have had experiance and had to fight for its life and go days without food instead of being feed like 3 times a day for babys and 1 for adults

but also adult wild pioranhas are expensive and you can get little babys for $10

  • well put my friend.. I wanted them this small so they would be use to me close to the tank and not scare away and hide.. they sometime come up to me when i get close to the tank.. its pretty nice.. my buddy says his doesnt eat infront of him and always hides in the corner in his little castle.. and my other friends wont eat unless you're really still.. mine will go for the food right away with no second thoughts about who's around the tank..

  • also i bought them for $20 each.. the guy said they were from the wild.. hope he's not lying.. :P dont matter to me anyways.. they're great little guys..

  • for 20$ hope their big cuz around were i live about a 3inch red bellie is 5$

  • Weird, for a second I thought I heard Dragon Ball playing in the background LOL.

  • Are they eating a meal worm that is speared through and pinned down on a tooth pick O.o o.O?

  • my adult piranhas has breeded succesfully !

    This is gonna be cool

  • @Thomas55Pham hey.. just wanted an update on how you babies did.. hope they all grew up.. how many babies did you end up with? that's a big accomplishment to breed them.. it's a very tough thing to do..

  • @kaleigh79 it didnt go well... they all died within a few days unfortunatelly.

  • @Thomas55Pham in a few days? what happen? have you had an aquarium before?

  • @kaleigh79 yes i have had a lot of aquariums , im not sure why they died. they looked perfectly fine the first 2-3 days, then they began to die...

  • @Thomas55Pham Im very sorry to hear that.. But be happy that you got them to breed.. it's not an easy thing to do.. conditions have to be just.. also the environment they're in...

Sorry for you loss.. But Im Happy that you got them to breed.. :)

  • they dont look so fierce when theyre young XD

  • so true.. the best thing is watching them grow.. i dont know how many weekd they are in this video.. but when they were about the size of a quarter they started be able to chase and eat minnows.. they didnt eat all of it.. just the soft parts.... like stomach and all that..

  • where can you find piranas at a store?

  • try finding them at you local fish store.. more private store instead of department stores like PetSmart..

  • so u could buy them in eggs, baby or adult?

  • i got them as babies.. i only had them for a few days before i took this video.. its best to get them this size so they can get used to you.. my friend has one that hides from him cause he got them as adults from a store.. dont know how the person before raised them.. mine comes to the glass when they see me come into my room..

  • Piranha is COOL,like to kept it...but don't know where can I bought it,where u get it man?

  • Nice..i liked this vid..any tips from anyone would be nice because im getting some soon

  • ya get a big tank and atleast 5 piranhas and ur all set lol good luck

  • well its best to keep 2 if you have a small tank.. dont go for 5 cause they'll start killing each other.. the numbers are to small, they'll divide into pairs and start taking over the tank.. there should be like a dozen in a 55 gallon tank. also you can stunt their growth by not changing the water as often.. once a month instead of once a week.. stunting with help keep the tank cleaning cause smaller fish make less BIO.. good luck with them..

  • That's cool! Are they eating a shrimp on a stick?

  • yes.. lol.. on a stick.. its a dried shrimp on a toothpick.. i just wanted to see how good they could bite.. they didnt eat the whole thing.. actually they ate very little of it..

  • yo man - nice lil fish - i keep em to - myne are 25 centimeter, i wanna know if you breed that fish, or bought it - i cant seem to get them to breed maybe you know someone that can help me??! ... gr-r

  • breeding pirahna can be a challenge.. Never done it myself and heard of very few ppl doing it.. also I think you need to use sand and not gravel.. goodluck.. if i think of anything else ill message you..

  • yeah theyr pretty well.

they are in a 20 gallon tank and stressfree they are..

Im feeding them with feeder golfishs.

  • yeah thats how it is...

But i have got 5 new red belly piranhas now.

  • keep them safe and stress free.. also do you have a nursing tank.. a cheap 10 gallon should do great.. hope you have better luck with you new little guys.. I miss mine alot.. I should be getting some more this year or next..

  • OOOH!

    So cute they are..

My 3 tiny piranhas has recently passed away..

  • damn man ur serious!. even tho they were tough baby piranhas and still passed away, what a coincidence i also had 2 baby pleco fish and they also passed away , i bought them like a couple of days ago..what a fukin shame

  • wat'd u feed it?

  • it was a small shrimp.. i wanted to see if they would try to bite it. I find Brine Shrimp and other frozen foods are great to get them to start biting but you have to clean your tank more.. then use feeder guppies to get them use to chasing there food.. when they easly get the guppies move on to small feeders..

  • how old and big are they now?

  • they have passed away.. first they worked as a group.. as they grew they started to pair off and taking territory.. I didnt have the right mix for my tank size.. i should have had a few more.. either buy 2 or alot.. dont ever get like 5 or something.. pairs work the best if dont want alot of fish..

  • cute

  • bastards

  • Is that Ben Ten in the background?

  • thats cute as hell...

  • Red bellied, or another type? Nice babies.

  • thanks.. yes they are red belly's.. i really want a black diamond.. think that will be my next pirahna.. ^_^

  • I went the other way round, bought a tank and a 7" black diamond last year, and just got some baby red bellies last week. (in another tank though) I love these guys.

  • these guys are great.. stay close to the tank so they get used to you.. what do you feed them.. I find brineshrimp is the best for them cause they can tear it apart really easy.. then guppies so they get used to chasing their food.. how many redbellies did you get and how big is the tank?

WOW.. you got a blackdiamond.. I want one of those but they are hard to get here..

  • I feed the babies blood worms or bits of shrimp. The black diamond eats prawns and sprats. I rescued the red bellies from my local corporate pet shop, pets@home. they only had two babies so I am looking for another three to make up a small school. They are in a four foot long tank to start with.

  • be careful with a small school.. sometimes they'll pair up and start killing each other off..

i know they are great in pairs..

  • I am planning to build an Amazonian section in my basement with two 8 foot long x 2.5 x 2.5 foot tanks.

  • oh wow.. thats gonna look really nice.. make sure you take some pics or make a vid of it.. I would really really like to see it when you're done..

    good luck with the project..

  • Sure will, thanks for the support ;)

  • i'm going to make a planted tank, wut all do u have to get ur plants to grow?

  • All i do is give them plant food once a week.. Then I got a special light for the plants.. have the light on 8-10 hours a day.. also make sure the light is on at the same time everyday..

  • how many do u have? what size tank is that? what kind of filter do u have? whats that gravel called?

  • 7 piranha's, 10 gallon nursing tank(now in a 55 gallon), in the 10 I had a 30 gallon filter, now I got a 60 gallon filter and a 30 working at the same time in 55 tank.. I forget whats its called sorry.. its like sand.. I was gona put white sand.. but piranha's dont care to much for sun.. so i got black for them.. and a soft light to keep them happy..

  • whered you get baby pirannahs?

  • At a petshop in the city.. all I have to do is tell him how many I want and he can get them for me.. he doesnt buy alot to keep instock, usually has like 3-5 instock..

  • in which city?

  • aaa cute

  • cute its eating a shrimp

  • hehehe

  • there cool do they grow fast and lol BEN 10 is on in the back ground
