  • who the hell puts a mag on a gun that you have to mod the sights to see over?! ... a genius. and then he picks up the giant light machinegun and shoulder fires it! you sir are second only to adam sandlers character the waterboy.

  • Can you make a video with original DT machinegun?

  • @ET42Driver I do not have a DT, they are pretty rare here in USA.

  • Looks great- seems it is quite uncomfortable to load DP and DT magazines, instead loading MG belts, does the MG34/42 drum mag the same working principle?

  • Did you bought all that guns by yourself ? or do you own a gunstore or maybe something else....? Because its pretty amazing to see all those vids on your channel with Browning 1919, MG42, etc....

    (greetings from europe)

  • @BulletK1ss I am licensed to buy, build and sell machine guns.

  • So you're basically Licensed to be awesome? :D

  • Degtyarev! Good!

  • Ur so cool Mr Texan!!! Anyways, I was under the misconception that DT was an infantry LMG....but seems like it's a tank-mounted weapon...so wikipedia says.

  • Did you ever shoot someone?

  • @GoesWithTheNameOfGTJ Not lately.....have you?

  • @C2builder I don't even have a gun... I just like watching your videos ;)

  • Boy, you really have the best Job in the world ;-)

  • Them bipods definatly dont like solid surfaces lol

  • I dont supose you have the M60 do you Mr C2? best regards josh

  • @joshboy1st No not at this time, I may buy one in the future.

  • @C2builder oh right thanks for replying

  • That is just so dang cool =)

  • I love this guy I am so glad I subscribed :)!!!

  • Good info as always

  • More conversion videos :)

  • Sir you are true King of the machinegun videos! We want to see more shooting please! 5*****

  • I wonder why it would fire faster with this new mag. I do not see how the spring pressure of the mag would do that, so I am kind of at a loss, but you are right. It does seem to be shooting a bit faster then before.

  • jolly good vid again 5*

my deact DP is marked DP26. i've never found out differencies between 26,27 and 28. i've got one DT magazine , it has cloth band around edge , unfortunately idk if it's wartime model or postwar one.

    cheers

  • @petrwarry1972 I'm sure your DT mag with the cloth band is WW2. Check in this video at the picture of the Russian tanker holding the DT gun and look at the mag.

  • @petrwarry1972 I've got the same type of magazines for my deact DT Machine Gun, all 6 of them have the cloth band with the square wire handle on it. I reckon they are post war modified as they came with the DT I bought which was modified and used by the Norwegians in the post war years. And just incase anyone decides to pull the usual crap with the fact its deactivated, its sadly the law in the UK.

  • I love your profile. I live in Poland and I can only watch as people in US are shooting those awesome guns...

  • 4:07 if u wanna see him fire it :)

    great vid :D

  • 0:57 - you showed Polish description :D

    Nice vid as all ;)

  • you have the coolest toys.

  • How do you get these? Are you just a collector of old guns?

  • Thanks for sharing. You always seem to have something to add or expand on and we enjoy it. Have you convinced Ted to move to Texas yet? Thanks for sharing and posting.

  • So it holds 63 rounds? I want to ask and confirm because most general sources that mention the DPM say its a 60 round magazine. Would it have the same situation with the DP pan magazine (preventing jams?), i've heard that the DP can actually hold 49 rounds but its meant to use only 47 to prevent jamming. Also I was trying to compare to when you had Ted over and when he tried to hipfire the DP with your exhibition of the DPM - did you remove those videos?

  • @pvtherman Every DT mag I have holds 63 rounds and no more. All of the DP mags I have hold 48 rounds and no more. In this vid I loaded all 63 rounds in the DT mag and experienced no jams at all.

  • What ever next? You could shoe horn a Vickers GO 100rnd drum into your Bren. It would take some modification, you might have to cut a Bren magazine in half and weld it onto the drum. With the extension you would be able to load the full 100 instead of the recommended 97.

Ah! what the heck, just get a Vickers GO.

  • What caliber does this machine gun use?

  • @mdc2296 7.62x54R...

  • @mdc2296

    7.62x54

  • @mdc2296 7.62x54mm.

    .30 caliber.

  • @mdc2296 7,62mm the same as mosin rifles

  • @mdc2296 7.62x54R

  • wow!~

that is one helluva great modification!

    ,jon

  • Great video C2builder! very informative

  • @thebibleisfiction Thanks!

  • You need to add some holes, or a grove, for the bipod legs in that bench

  • @norwegianwiking I know that now.

  • Nice!

BTW I read someplace that the DP magazines could actually hold 49 rounds, but when used in practice on testing the spring would either ware out quickly or the weapon would jam.

I'm not sure if its true though.

  • I have heard of germans using the Dts on there tanks. Captured or course.

  • Nice to see a new nice video from you! Long time since last I saw a new video!

  • Man, you've got all the coolest stuff (I mean the DP not the cheap ammo, lol)

  • Great video. But the way the shells seem to be ejecting seems to be a problem. But then again thats just what it looks like to me.

  • @TheOdinistman Really? How so?

  • @C2builder Well the shells eject out the bottom of the gun if im seeing things right. And it just seems that if they fall straight down hot brass might cause problems. But im not for sure I dont have to much knowledge on things like this.

  • nice job

  • The ROF did seem to be a tad faster than I remember with the DP28 you kindly let me shoot. Was that gun the 28M that you had when I was there? And the Corgi's must have been going Nuts!

  • @kiwitedferny Yes same gun you videoed at my old house. The ROF with this DT mag sounds like 700rpm instead of the usual 600rpm when I shot the DPM last. The DP28 you shot while you were here runs at 500rpm.

The Corgi's are used to the gun fire now. They've been hearing it alot lately. LOL.

  • Good mod......nice gun as well thanks! I want one now LOL

  • lol that one round looked like it was a black powder round what happend

  • @camerl2009 Typical of cheap 50 year old military surplus ammo. What you saw is when a primer pops thru the tail of the case and causes gas to expel back into the reciever as well as propelling the bullet out of the barrel.

  • Other than the added weight, this seems like a great upgrade for the infantry version.

  • @wolfgoblin The only problem is the height of the modified sights, in combat they would be snagging on everything. I might just remove the front and rear sight and add a red-dot scope. It wouldn't look war-time correct but would be a lot more fun to shoot.

  • @wolfgoblin Oh yeah, mount the red dot on the magazine and then you'll have quick-detachable optics haha!

  • great vid what a good idea man alot more compact

  • @42cujo The balance of the weapon is better also since the weight is more centered along the reciever.

  • great stuff

    you bin away to long!

  • @MegaRucker Not much time to do any fun filming, been too busy building guns for customers.

  • how mutch time does it take you to acquire these weapons ??

  • @anteracmacash This DPM I built myself, it is classified as a Post Sales Sample that can only be sold to other NFA Dealers or L.E. Agencies.
