i dont use tuners, i didn use one to get to this tunning

i gess maybe playing piano for like 6 years, kinda helpd in a musical sense, but ya, if u want a tuner go ahead, probably betetr for a more accurate tuning

do i have to get heavy strings for th slipknot chords? like there are no power chords in that song just like open on the top 2 strings and holding one fret down on 2 strings

u dont have to get heavy gauge strings, this is m y guitar b4 it had heavy gauge strings put on, all u hav to do is tune down to b tuning, and so on

it just makes playing music like this easier if u have heavy gauge strings because they do not bend as much wen u strum them in a low tuning, but u can still strum fairly hard with them on and get a really good, clean sound out of them

highly reccomemded for this type of music but it is not an essential, just better for this band and type of music
