  • Ronnie's got some great moves

  • RONNIE DIRT

  • Pound that ladder.

  • i wish is was born in the 80's instead of the 90's or the 70's would of been good to

  • @MrFrostylemons1 yeah.. you missed out on the best music man. So glad I was an 83' baby.

  • @deepmonkeypaw glad I was a 79 baby, got to be in ALL of the eighties!!

  • I was born in 96 nd i love this song!

  • @cnmckissick nobody really cares...

  • 6 people were born after the 80s :(

  • Comment removed

  • the video caption is one of the best things iv ever read

  • The caption for this video alone made me lol.

  • @ChloeLi2014 same here

  • Just Hung out with a great girl lastnight, As soon as we kissed, This song Played immediately in my Head as soon as our lips met <3

  • I remember when this came out in Oct. '86. Great memories!!

  • Total Great Video

  • ultraviolence123 posted this? ultra violence was a lot different when I was growing up

  • I remember when i was just a youngster, maybe 6 or 7 at the oldest bouncing around in the car, while my mom played her favorite eddie money tape. Crazy how songs like this can bring back memories like that.

  • This is Eddie Money's best song. I remember meeting him when he was a guest at a local radio station and was in town to do a concert. He was a really nice guy, signed a couple of my cd jackets which I still have today. Thanks Eddie, there are still some down to earth guys left in this business.

  • This VID Is EDDIE Money...Where Did This Rap Convo Start LOL

  • Rock On Eddie...Your The Best :)

  • the voice of an ANGEL Ronnie comes from a long line incredibe of music

  • That air guitar on sax - FUCKING LEGENDARY!!

  • He should be in the RR Hall of Fame if he isn't already!!!!! Dude had a voice built for RR.

  • yeah i like eddie money WHAT ABOUT IT

  • Yeah I know that most rap is shit nowadays. But you can't hate all rap. There are still a few catchy songs out nowadays. Just saying.

  • @Darrin33333 Not being a troll at all, but what's some of the rap out there today that you like? I've got my own opinions and want to see whether I'm the only one that feels the same way.

Again, this is a serious post.

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi Low, Bottoms Up, This is Why I'm Hot, Take You There, Candy Shop, Cyclone, etc. I prefer 40s music to this and this to rap, but there are some rap songs that I like. Not that you will like them, but you asked.

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi I think that a few of eminems songs are pretty catchy. Drake has some good ones too. Now i know that most rap is just talking nonsense and giving a stupid laugh after saying something about girls or weed but some does have catchy riffs and verses.

  • @Darrin33333 OK, good. We're on teh same page. Eminem is just about the only rapper today that I can stand to listen to. I listen to rap for the comedy value. If the rhymes don''t make me laugh, I'm not interested.

The bullshit about smackin' hoes is stupid. The only one who could pull that off with my respect was Eazy.

Raced back to tha bitches I'm keepin'

Untied the ho, so I could start creepin'

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi exactly! you are the first person who actually understands where im comin from.

  • Who's the Tijuana whore?

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi

Brian Wilson says he almost crashed his car into a ditch the first time he heard "Be My Baby". Springsteen has said part of his vocal phrasing comes from Ronnie Spector. The video you are watching is in part a tribute to Ronnie Spector. What have YOU done for music today? - JAMES

  • @Eoraptor1 LOL @ Brian Wilson. Was this before or after he started on his meds? Not much impressed with anything that Springsteen or Ronnie Spector ever did. My interests lie elsewhere.

What I've done for music? Well, I consume it versus steal it for one. Plus I write it. Plus, on more than one occasion I've had people walk up to me after a show and compliment me either on my playing or how my drums sound, so hopefully I've inspired people to play or at least moved them in some way. Good enuff?

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi I don't recall ever having accused you of stealing music, and I am aware of your online profile. Lots of people in this big world playing and writing, and I don't argue taste. Congratulations, you've called an abused woman who nonetheless achieved something, a "whore" over the internet. You're a great hero. I'm done with you now. - JAMES

  • @Eoraptor1 Well, I asked who the "tijuana whore" was and got an answer. Didn't know much of anything about her. I'll look her up.

But the fact is, for someone so "accomplished," why would she walk and act like a "whore" in this video? She certainly didn't help the plight of women being viewed as objects in rock n' roll by doing this. This video makes her look like a groupie at best, and a call girl at worst.

My reference to stealing was that I try to support music, unlike most kids today.

  • 8 people are at home already!

  • This is still a AWESOME song after all these years! Go Eddie & Rhonnie!

  • such good rock/and rollll...... feel your heart beat faster..

  • i am with u 13cent2

  • This is actually one of the few 80s songs that I don't remember hearing when growing up during that time. I just heard this for the first time a few years ago. Another good song from that era. All songs from that era bring back memories of my youth.

  • I love this song, and Ronnie was rockin' that miniskirt.

  • i hope dean from the show supernatural lip sync to this music

  • he has a amazing voice

  • The truth Eddie was always "Broke", thats why they called him Eddie Money. And it stuck.

  • He was given this as a demo song. And, they were trying to decide who would be his back up vocal. He chose the lady that did the demo back up vocals.

And there she is. And she still lives in Corpus Christi. You can not deny pure notes and able to hold them.

  • u rock man

  • Ultra 80's style saxaphone solo's at 2:07 and 2:34

  • the sunglasses toss at 0:50 is probably the most badass thing on youtube.

  • Ronnie Spector

  • Never seen her before who is she wheres she at now........I have questions lol

  • Who's Ronnie?????? any1 know?

  • @darin500038 She fronted the "Ronnettes". They had a huge hit "Be My Baby". Hence the line from this song "just like Ronnie sang, be my........."

That's what makes it so cool that he got her to appear in this song. She was looking quite good here since she must have been already middle aged.

  • @demonhoopa Thanx that solved a 30 year mystery. Those years in high school in the 80' and i never knew who he was talking about.....thanx again i bow to yer knowledge

  • This is definitely a classic!

    Wonderful music!

  • Take me home tonight! Any one take me home tonight? I shouldn't wonder.

  • Eddie still rocks

  • not bad for a guy that got away with murder huh?

  • I feel nostalgic with this song...I used to sing to this a lot when I was a kid.

  • 5 may have suffered a permanent brain damage from listening to Justin Bieber.

  • "With all the power you're releasing, it isn't safe to walk these city streets alone

Anticipations run through me, Let's find the key and turn this engine on"

    Very powerful lyrics IMHO!

  • If you look at :58, the sax isn't there when he's swing the mike but then it reappears.

  • @tryithere It happens at 0:40 as well.

  • his hair is so pimp

  • I love this song but the movie take Me Home Tonight brought me here

  • i remember this song in the 1980's

  • you want to go for that turkey don't you..?!

  • thumbs up if you came to this video because the one with 6 million views has removed comments - SICK SONG THOOOUGHHHH!!

  • I wonder if he ever actually arrested anybody.

  • Amazingly, Phil Spector was hitting that. Quite literally.

  • AWESOME HIS BEST

  • Eddies got a great voice!

  • the guy with the mop was one of the three guys that disliked this video, Ronnie did not take him home...

  • By seeing the light i assume he means his d*ck..which is natural the chick in this video is hot

  • When they lift the door and she's coming in, that part reminds me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind when the alien comes down and gives the hand signal and smiles. They are kinda built the same.

  • eddie can help me see the light, he is so hot in this video!!!!!

  • @suthrnbell32 Heck with him, I don't need viagra & young. I got a buck in my pocket, I got 'money" & my friends name is Ronny. How your sleeping?

  • Very well done Money, sorry you already filled in the blank check. Outstanding!

  • Love this song!

  • Can't wait to see him in Santa Cruz next Friday. Love his music!

  • Like that....

  • you just cant beat the classics lol

  • Best fkng song of the 80's - brings back so many good memories of being really young. Ronnie Spector may have given me my first wood from this video.

  • (Sigh) Back when music had swing and art and music

  • OMG I never knew he was so damn HOT....What was I missing?!! Whew!!

  • Take me home Eddie! OH YES!!!!

  • God I miss real music like this, not like todays sorry half assed attempt at rhyming a few words spit out to a beat made by a machine that has the same rythm as every other "rapper". sorry thats not music!

    EDDIE YOU ROCK!

  • @13cent2 i agree half the music out there today is not music at all espeshily thatt rap carbage. To me that is not music it is pure bullshit

  • @13cent2 besides eminem

  • @13cent2 LOL. There was plenty of crap like that in the 80's. Rose colored glasses are awesome. Ha ha.

  • @13cent2 .. I like this and I like Rap Music too ,if you believe rapping is so E.z. go make a album for fun ,make some money and shut me up. I fucking hate people like you it just have to be one-way, just what you like and if you don't like it it's shit. Well sorry the world don't work like that man, there are alot of people in this big world and we all like and love diff.. things.

  • @13cent2 I MISS THE 80s!!!! =( those years went by WAY too fast...

  • @13cent2 britney spears sings like eddie money...but yeah i know what you mean...miss this kind of music...actually i miss the past :(

  • Eddie Money in Lima, Ohio.... TONIGHT!! Shakin'

  • I love the 80's music/Movies all had such a positive meaning

  • Ronnie Spector was 43 years old in this video... rocking a body-hugging mini dress. Damn. Her shaking in this video caused a lot of boys to accelerate through puberty.

  • thumbs up if espn sports bar game commercial brought you here

  • 3 people were not taken home that night.

  • @dArtagnany0 ahahahahahahah

  • @dArtagnany0 I take it that YOU were the 3!?!>>>

  • Surprised only 96, 000 hits. Thought more had enjoyed this!

  • Now, too. Good women don't change.

  • I have weekend theme songs and this song is so awesome it became the first whole week theme song :D

  • In the dictionary for Cool, Eddie Money should be on it

  • so cute, love it!

  • Makes me think of Miami Vice every time

  • 82 Marines, states-sides but worked that PAC & beyond into Civies, luve it!

  • wow- no camera time for poor Ronnie. I wonder what the story is there. I fell in love with this song as akid. It introduced me to Ronnie, then to Phil, and later to DUSTY!

  • the thing thats funny about this vid is that eddie doesnt know how to play sax

  • @knivesman145 Not true.

  • @knivesman145 You're retarded bro. He plays saxophone in all of his songs... Ever seen his show live?

  • @bigtymer019 na, i hadnt been to one of his concerts. its just the radio 4 me

  • Ronnie Spector, yes.

  • Damm when I get off tonight, before I go home, I'm going to pick her up and I"m going to take her home tonight.

  • the singers of today are trying so hard to bring back the 70s and 80s

example lady gaga thinks she is from the 80s with her fkn music. god someone kill her!(as a singer-she thinks she is the new Madonna of this era)

the 80s will never come back. those original songs are rare and its a shame those singers are long gone. their music was awesome and they could sing. now a days no one can sing. its all machines, computerized music. fkn lame sauce

  • @dashizzle1985 Thank you someone else understands how i feel about music nowadays.

  • The best of Rock-n-Soul .... Thanks Eddie!

  • after seeing ths video i dance down my hallway the was ronnie spector does haha

  • @dirtylilsecrets6207

This song has special meaning to me. My girl on my Bday Nov 25th 2010 dressed up like Ronnie and played this song for me at home with our karyoke setup and I was awestruck while she performed this same song for me. We will be wedded this Nov on my Bday. What a gift that will last a lifetime! Talk about a gal doing her homework to captivate a heart..it worked so well.

  • @airwolfflies ---- Cool story......but sounds fake ??

  • @Hunkola

Here is what my gal Hung Le did. 5 days b4 my bday, I was playing this song in my truck. She asked me who is this, and I told her Eddie Money, baby. You really like it , don't you she said. I told her Oh yeah! So when we got home she Googled him but didn't tell me. So on 11/25/10 while I was making dinner res 4 us at 11AM, she played that song down our basement on our karyoke set up. I went down to check it out, and that woman re enacted the Ronnie Spector scene just fo me, I luv her

  • @dirtylilsecrets6207 ---- LOL, sorry but only Ronnie has the swagger to dance down a hallway like that

  • there are no songs like this any more

  • If only music was still this good!!!

  • music was done being made at 1989.

  • Love the song. Love the video. Awesome how Money writes and sings a terrific song, does some cool moves as the performer, and incorporates a legendary singer and samples her song, too. Ronnie Spector does a fine job as the legendary walk on obscured for a large portion of the video. Classic!

  • Wow ronnie was 41 when this video came out.

  • i was born in 84 i love this song,,,,,

  • @shawn1rocks and I was born in 94, lol

  • Damn, Ronnie can move those hips. Look at her at 2:37!

  • Woah! Eddie is so hot!

  • Best song ever! Love Eddie, love Ronnie, if this song came out today it would be the biggest hit in the world for a long, but although it came out 25 years ago, still is and always will be a timeless masterpiece.

  • @tornado19832 I agree but I just wanted to point out that the song has come out several times since it's original release, in the form of covers (check the side links) and granted they can never compare to the original, but at least we can rest knowing the song isn't forgotten but being remade by newer generations into varying forms by different genres so they too may enjoy it. Who knows? They may get curious to hear the original, seek it out and gain better appreciation of a true classic. :)

  • Ronnie, Great she came back, she kick ass on this video...love her

  • i was born in 1965 the music was something to be proud of who you listen to was who you were rock disco country pop you dressed the same as your fav band and were loyal to them we bought record players and 45s lots of white noise lol love the music from my day

  • Ronnie, will you sit on my face ?

  • I don't think you want Ronnie sitting on your face now!! She's 67!!

  • @jumpinjojo

Don't be so sure I'm pretty wierd. Turning the light off does wonders though...........LOL

  • @Nessfiles To which she replied "Eat my little baby."

  • This song can always make me happy! Great one to star to week to. :D

  • When she sings, "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oooh" it sounds like she's singing in two different octaves at once. Anyone else hear it that way?

  • it's the good ol' 80s reverb you're hearing.

  • lol 0:58

  • Love Ronnie...is always beautiful. Love her voice!!!!!!

  • Ronnie was smokin' in this. She's only 6 years older than Eddie Money.

  • yes she was, in the beginning, smoking in the dressing room lol

  • what the fuck are you talking about? you're fucking stupid
