  • @wizerulz Where are you located? I'm in Advance (Winston-Salem)

  • man im so jealous it must be the best feeling just tearing down the road in that beast it sounds amazing! good work!

  • I'm thinking about adding the stripes. It looks bare without them.

  • @6362491 You sir, do have my dream car. I am curious as to how it feels with the Hemi in it? They said the 440 could keep up with the Hemi, and I've rode in a 440. And, I've got to ask, since it is my dream car, how much?

[As for the stripes, I always though that white louvers, and perhaps the horizontal racing stripe would look okay, but I have yet too see one with both]

  • If I was going to have one I would want it just like this only with the proper stripes. Gorgeous car!

  • I am going to secretly come take your tail light lenses!!!!!!JK very nice my friend.you know of any parts houses that carry parts for these cars?

  • @jims72 I use "Year One" and "e-bay" along with swap meets and Mopar shows. I'm pretty sure Year One has them.

  • Plum crazy and a white interior.... That is soooo soooo sooo nice. I wish I had the money to finish my 1971 SSP. These cars are just pure magic..

  • I think it was a fiberglass company in Ashtabula, Ohio

  • thanks ill try to hunt them down

  • were did you get th cowel hood

  • No, 472 is the correct engine displacment. It isn't a GM product.

  • @6362491 Yes, a special new block by Mopar Performance with all the goodies to make a 426 into a 472. Quite a few people are dropping these into their Mopars now.

  • 472?

    you mean 427?

  • best car evr. sounds lik its fatring.

  • holy shit this runner is beasttttt....i thaught mt dads was fast with 485 hp...i was wrong =P....nice nice nice.

  • Fuckin' Hell, thats badass, beats up those shitty fuckin' import tuner rice rockets any day.

  • Looks alot like the Satellite, which was of course, faster than the speed of light!

  • @Meowmix4U I think the road runner is a satelite with special badging and perhaps some very minor diferences.

  • @Meowmix4U The Road Runner was released in 1968 as a low price muscle car. Based on the Satellite with a 383 as the engine, optional engines included the 426 Hemi, 440 wedge, and in later years the 340/360 small blocks. The 72 got a special grill & front/rear sway bars with the 400 replaceing the 383 as the base engine. These cars were sold stripped for action but you could option them up if you could afford it. They were several hundred dollars cheaper than any comparable muscle of the day.

  • Love the Runner !! sweet !!

  • Sweet ride!!!
