  • just good ....

  • Just found from what Hed PE are really influenced by...

  • Didn't know this band. Reminds me of Shootyz Groove.

  • panzerkeil, no it doesnt.

  • I saw these guys on the first Warped Tour in 1995 in the Rosemont Horizon parking lot (Rosemont, Illinois - suburb or Chicago). There were vert ramps and 2 stages and all kinds of shit going on ... ROCKED ASS!

  • Is the "Failure" video on YouTube anywhere?

  • @ChuckyFE It's funny i've been looking for that one too. Failure was the song I heard on the radio most and i'm not sure why its so hard to find on here. My brother used it in a gaming vid of his and it was blocked fast... I have the Tragic album and I am tempted to upload it but i know it will just get blocked.

  • @Swervedriver84 I got it on an old VHS somewhere, but I'd have to go through hundreds of tapes just to find it.

  • @ChuckyFE I had this on a vhs along with Fear Factory and several other bands...from back in 98' I think.

  • WOW!!!! I just got hit with a memory hammer in the face. Bands like this just do not excist anymore. Quicksand, Unsane, Old Jawbox. Great shit

  • C (what) 2 CONTINUE?

  • Caught these guys opening for Quicksand in the 90's, bad ass shit!

  • audio quality kinda stinks... but still good

  • THEY DONT FORGET BASIC RYTHYM

  • shit, i mean idk but im pretty positive this is more nu metal than post hardcore, although Orange 9mm DOES have hardcore punk like characteristics.

but anyway i think its got both, and just putting it out their fuck all the emo scene "post hardcore" wannabe shit

  • this is not nu metal. Just because it has a groove doesn't mean it should be associated with bands like Korn.

  • @policestory it's rapcore

  • @policestory I saw Orange 9mm & Korn open for 311 in a tiny club back in the day.

  • @C2CONTINUES no shit becasue Korn actually had their videos on MTV back then before 311!!

  • @policestory i consider them post-hardcore

  • @policestory yeah call all the older hardcore 'nu-metal', and all the new hardcore emo-pretendo.

  • @policestory they toured together, association established, but that doesnt discredit them in any way. Like the Deftones, they blew Korn away....

  • they probably thought they were hardcore.they always toured with punk bands.i always thought they were metal/rap.

  • @milesraydaath

yeah, you know what you douchebag? The were around before there ever was a "nu metal"

  • @supershqipa yea your right.

  • saw them back in 95 i think, at hammerstein ballroom. won some free tickets through 89.5 wsou, pirate radio, in nj!!! nyhc is the shit!!! from agnostic front to helmet and in between. long live nyhc

  • @safil SOU was the only one in the tristate area playing this stuff. I won ticket to see Metallica at Giant stadium back in '99.

  • Saw them in NYC in 93? 94? 95? opening for Quicksand at Irving Plaza. Used to see Chaka all the time on 23rd street going into his apartment. As a teenager, that was the coolest! I know where Chaka Malik lives! Haha. Cool-ass band.

  • Nice! Where is the video from "Failure"?

  • @bronsonlee777 The video is owned by EMI and they don't want it up here unfortunately.

  • Love this song. Never got to see them live, but I did see Chaka when he was singing with Burn back in like 90 or 91 at City Gardens in Trenton.

while they were around. great fukin band!

  • anyone know where the video of Orange 9mm 'faliure' would be...havent heard that in years

  • bring back memories...good old days!

  • Nu metal, metal, Hardcore, Punk???? Who the Fuhq cares, all i know is they kick ass!

  • in fact at CMJ 95 Chaka was part of a panel talking about the evolution of hard rock and he said that hardcore and post hardcore bands from NYC were certainly not nu metal. to say otherwise would be the equivalent of using a racial insult.

  • the owner of the vid is a fucking idiot. this is not nu metal

  • wtf does chaka's race have to do with anything? why the fuck do idiots like you always bring race into discussions.

and as for chaka saying the group is "hardcore nu metal" I say bull fucking shit. they're POST-hardcore and I worked at Revelation records when they were based still in CT. I mean the company not the band. i had to clear that up since you dont see be the brightest bulb.

  • fuckin classic, saw them @ The Stone Pony in NJ. Don't get better than that

  • yeah,these guys were talented & I saw'em on a hella tour=O9MM w/ProPain,Voivod, & Crisis!I still have all their releases to this day also..

  • man i forgot all about this band.. saw em around 94-95 when i was about 14 supporting Biohazard at Sheffield Octagon.. i remember a stage diver landed on my head n about knocked me out!

  • I consider it criminal that I was not old enough to be a concertgoer when bands like this were still around.

  • me too

  • Wow. I remember seeing O9mm with Madball and Dog Eat Dog at Studio One in Newark in the mid-90's. 90's hardcore was fuckin great. Thanks for posting this.

    super underrated

  • yeah the bass pwned in their first two albums..

  • Black dudes are way cooler when they just fucking go off in bands like this.

Not all that pussy hip hop shit.

    Rap fucking sucks

  • i agree, rap does suck

  • i'm even ok with Killswitch Engage they're not bad and they got a black singer

  • @OdeToMyHemoroids

Ure moth** sucks more than HH dude.

  • loved this album...but was sad that gentile(the bassist) left afterwards...didn't quite regain that same "ooomph" after that...

  • saw them at warped tour back in '95. Blew me away! Brilliant stuff.

  • Saw em open for Helmet and met em in the lobby. Badass dudes and killer music.

  • Saw them in '95 @ The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and also opening for Bad Brains in '99,,, Def liked the '94/'95 line up better.. Chaka iz a real cat..Real talent...

  • GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

  • saw these wid ded n biohazard @ the octogen in sheff awesome venue was talkin to the lead singer during the ded set then jon conner landed on top of me pretty cool n got fuckin soaked by the water they were throwin from the stage not heard o 9mm since then quality

  • I was there as well, 1995ish I think! Got kicked in the head by the lead of DED when he launched himself into the pit - good times!!

  • ye it was about that time paid 8 quid for my ticket bargain to c 3 quality bands,i must have been stood right next to u
