I just graduated Cos School, and interviewed w Great Clips, they did not call me back. I think it was because I love to wear funky colors in my hair, and they don't offer color. i work at another salon that gives me more creative freedom, and offers color, even though i had MANY clients in skoo, something about color never clicked. I got a color wheel, I have been studying my butt off on color, but I am afraid to do it. I feel it is my passion though. Pls make a vid on color.thx curly

Girl, u r the ONLY beautician on YT that will give out advise like this. When I retire, which will be in about 14 months, I plan to go to cosmotology school. So, Ima take all the advise I can get, so u keep it coming and keep it real!!! I have really learned a lot on YT. My sister says Im crazy for watching all these video on YT, or well, this is how u do it for FREE!!!

Great advice! That is exactly what I did and I have learned soooo much about cuts and colors. I am now a teacher but I have been with Supercuts for 13 years and still work there on weekends. Upcoming stylist please consider this option, you will not regret it!

Very wise advice. I must say.. I feel really bad for most if not all hair stylist. the reason being is many customers have unrealistic expectations. As matter fact I saw this one lady sit down next to me.. She had over bleached and processed hair. Show a picture of silky flowing blond hair. I wanted to tell that other customer. Your in a dream world. The stylist is a stylist.. not a miracle worker.
