at our jrotc highschool if you shoot 250 at at least 33 competition they let you keep your rifle.

I have a rifle competition tomorrow @_@ So nervous because I feel so out of place, I was bumped up from Supporter to Precision in like a week, I'm the only girl on Precision, I'm the only Freshman on Precision. I find it funny that I shoot 230's-240's while the other three shoot maybe 200's-210's but I'm still nervous as heck @_@

I was thinking of futurama today during JROTC practice, I accidental flinched while standing about to shoot, thought I missed big time, turns out I shot right next to the 10 and hit a 9, do you guys clear out your minds when shooting or do you try to focus on a single topic, I still suck, my best at prone is 50 something, any advise?

i only have my team shoot in jeans or shorts with whatever t-shirt they throw on... and we're pretty darn good... i can knock out 270s+.. but i think that Pink Floyd helps all the way..

@wolfremity the clothing is made from canvas which is very stiff,so when you get into a position it kind of locks you into that position.

getting in shape will help alot.. i stretch every morning and it helps too.. drink lots of water those are just some tips from my father, an expert qualifier in the best, USMC
