Dragon Ball(Blue Water dub) which I know is more light hearted then Naruto but when they showed it on Toonami UK sometime in 2003/ 2004 I think blood was kept largely intact and character death was clearly shown(I think) and fights weren't censored to death either the same could apply to Z(Ocean dub said gone/destroyed rather die/d compared to the near identical funi script) .Makes me fear what the UK would do if an ocean dub of Kai ever came around here ....

Actually Japanese has cut a couple of things out. In the Unmask Kakashi episode, when Kakashi is beating those 3 weird guys up, it just shows the horse's butt then he looks at the screen and laughs, but originally it was just a white screen with poop falling down then the white screen fades to the Horse's butt while it zooms out and then the horse laughs. (They showed that in the American uncut version also!) o-o

Also amazingly enough some of the edits on cartoonaetwork in america make some of the scenes look visually correct. I mean there r blood edits here and there, but some editing makes naruto look a bit like it was made in 2005, not 2002.

If u look on the anime-edit website and look for naruto, u probably would be surised at some of the changes in the episodes.

yeah here in the UK on jetix, they have a very strict cennsoring, because of the slot it's in. if it was after 9:00 pm the blood, language etc. would be left in, but sadly... it never aired here.

I forgot... Isn't that the scene where Zabuza cuts "Kakashi" (it wasn't Kakashi himself. It was a water clone of him) in half? Wow... and people complain about the US version of Naruto shown on CN, because they cut out a few minor scenes (VERY minor) and some of the blood was edited out (mainly when someone coughs up blood). On top of that, the US is currently releasing uncut DVDs. I'm glad that CN didn't edit out scenes like this. Horribly done, Jetix.
