"Vocal Chorus by Francis Luther" - of course that's Frank Luther, who was on staff at Victor early in the 30s and on so many High Hatters and Leo Reisman sessions.
I hadn't heard this recording before or even heard of this band. They are not listed in my Arlington House edition of Rust's Jazz Records so I looked the band up in the American Dance Band Discography and this record is listed on page 645. Do you have any of the Victor recordings by Henry Halstead's Orchestra? I have two over on my page-Rosy Cheeks and Ain't That Too Bad. I have an unpublished picture of the band outside Roscoe Arbuckle's Plantation Club with the recordings.
I'm only just getting into 1920s music, but one thing that strikes me: that record label - it's like a work of art!
Why can't things be so beautiful today? The music was great too!
