@shawbone2k I didn't have a customs fee on this particular order from Asos but I had a huge customs fee on my order from Asos before this one.

@shawbone2k i just received my order from asos last wednesday (my order was just under $200) and there were no customs fees

there's a promotion going on right now for the month of october where standard shipping and returns are free and asos will cover any customs fees... the promotion is for their new us version of the site, which i'm glad for because i'm leary about having to pay for a mysterious amount in us customs fees lol

@reversemtlstreetteam Hey. I recommend going by your measurements and using the size chart, it's really the best way to determine your correct size in their clothing.

@purplemascara55 A couple things fit well without tailoring, like the skirts, but I got the dresses tailored because they were too big and I couldn't wear them like that.

dude! u taylor ur own clothes... i havent even touched my sewing machine lol i might as well sell it..... i like the tope colored dress. does it have pockets too? if so, thats nice and casual seems comfortable rather than too dressy

@tsaiyana lol. Yes, some times I tailor them myself. If I don't feel like it or if I don't have time I have a wonderful tailor/seamstress that I work with all of the time. The taupe dress has draping and a bubble hem that creates the look and feel of pockets, they aren't really fully functional pockets though.

Oh my goodness, I love ASOS! I order from them all the time and the shipping is dynamic considering they are in the UK. The only thing is I've found some real cute dresses that only ship to the UK, =(. Cute Haul!

@glamorousdollface Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the haul. I agree about the shipping and fees. The Mango brand items only ship to the UK. Mango is a great brand and I absolutely love their clothing, luckily there's a Mango store in NYC.

I don't try the clothing on that I buy because now I use my blog for styling and I also do outfit videos showing how items look on me and also how I put them together, plus that would be quite time consuming and I have a busy life and make as many videos as I can in my spare time.

Delivery must be different depending on what state the order's being sent to.I've ordered about....13 times already and it always took about a week for my order to get to me with the standard flat rate shipping ($6).My orders were never late and I never have to pay any custom fee, wether if the order's over $200 or just $50. Although, if I use my Bank of America visa card, the bank'll charge me around $6 for international transaction, so check with your credit card company before you order.

@PearlyThePug No, it has nothing to do with those things for me, I've used my bank check card, not credit card, each time and my bank doesn't charge me any fees for international transactions. I've orderd over 10 times and 6 times I've had customs fees and friends in different states have had the same problem with standard delivery taking at least 3-5 weeks. Asos has a blog on their website where you can see the many people discussing daily both customs fees and shipping delays.

@PearlyThePug The brokerage fees that I paid were to UPS who delivered my shipments a multiple times. The only time I've received my order in about a week was when I expedited my shipping and chose Express shipping which had much higher customs fees. These are just my personal experiences with a few orders. I'm glad that your experiences with delivery time and customs fees were positive, mine unfortunately weren't. Overall I still love their products and the customer service Asos provided me.

Good info about the customs fee, I purchased a few items a couple a months ago and didn't pay a fee either, so I was wondering about your first asos hall when you said you paid a customs fee and Cash on delivery to Ups. maybe because you live in NY? or purchased over $200 ?

@thankfulandblessed I think that it could have been a combination of both plus my first haul was really large and was shipped using Express Delivery, the items I showed in this haul is from that same order. The customs brokerage fee was issued by and also paid to UPS, I don't really know what went on with that.

In my opinion every item that I've purchased, except for one, has been really good quality, much better quality than that of Forever 21 and similar stores, in my opinion. I'm not really good with rating things from 1 to 10 because there is so many factors that come to play. If you are worried about the quality I would recommend ordering a couple of items that you like when they go on sale(they have really great sales) to see what you think about their clothing.

I was so bummed because I'd already created a fierceoutfit with it in my mind, don't you hate when that happens? LOL.
