nice to see raw feeding much more healthy than kibbles they also have to work at eating it my german shepard died of bloat because he ate to fast no wonder dogs who eat raw dont usally die of bloat

@galtzur21 Freezing does kill some parasites. If you aren't comfortable feeding the deer fresh, I would suggest freezing first.

I have to say, that is the most FIT little dog I have ever seen! VERY good muscle tone, nice tucked-up belly, and obviously a good appetite.

I wish more people would keep their dogs in good condition, rather than seeing tons of small dogs which are overweight or obese, have no teeth left due to periodontal disease, and have greatly shortened lifespans.

What a good boy! My two goobers want me to hand/spoon feed them. My girls are a lab-rotti mix, and a timber wolf-husky-arctic wolf-malamute-coyote-german shepherd thing (yes I know her ancestry lol). My wolfdog doesn't even want her food to be raw...talk about failure of a predator.

Turbo is awesome. I have a big dog (great Pyrenees).. and he is kind of a sissy... he too is raw fed.. but he won't eat unless his meat is cut up into bite size pieces. Sheesh. He needs to take some lessons from Turbo!

LOL! I think they(dogs) all have their sissy moments.

Don't give up on him. Keep trying different kinds of big food with him. He may find something he likes, and then more readily accept other kinds of big food.

I absolutely hate seeing people shoot deer and then just take the hams and backstraps. You can get more meat than that if you aren't lazy.

Shooting that deer and going home without finding her was AWFUL! Didn't sleep that night. I was on cloud 9 when he found her, though.

Plus, with a dog, deer and other game parts that normally don't get used make perfect dog food.  Like heads. Talk about NO waste! We use almost the entire deer.

He DID find her for me, though. I shot it the day before and lost the blood trail. Took him out the next day and he found her over a 1/4 mile from where I lost her.
