Love this trailer. Watched the movie, loved it as well. This trailer gets one excited to see the film w/o telling the entire story, as so many trailers do these days. It's gotten to a point where all the funny scenes are in the trailer and the movie is spoiled. That's why this one is so much better; it tells so much w/o telling much.

A good movie, saw the preview screening last night. Not quite a brilliant as the version starring Noomi Rapace, but Rooney Mara carries the film. As far as Trent Reznor goes, he's done better, and some of the score feels overpoweringly out of place. But overall, a grand return by Fincher to his roots!

@stupidrasta65 well it certainly helps to know the difference, because if one is interested, u can make a comparison of the 3 different works and what their intentions are. but it is indeed not a remake, as it uses the book as a primary source rather than the film. if it was the film they were working off of, then it wud be a remake of the film and also be a big difference from being an adaptation to the book.

@ZackJ100 I am not against the idea of remakes, but the thing is the massive amont of remakes produced in the last years have created a huge unbalance in Hollywood. They need more orignal ideas or Hollywood will be just as unoriginal as Sweden. Trust me, I live there. Let Me In fell flat for me, but it did not like the original GWDT movie as crime films are to Sweden what remakes are to Hollywood, so I might enjoy this better. And LMI was a remake, it was based on the script of the original.

I just saw the original film version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and I loved it! Thought it was complex and any film I have ever seen. And I previously wasn't a fan because of my lack of curiosity for the franchise but after this trailer came out I read all the books and saw all the movies and it was great! And I'm shocked that David FIncher managed to maintain the same look and feel except with different actors. This is gonna be amazing! Go Fincher!!!
