The reason why higher potency "skunk" is a bad thing is because the way it reaches this potency is by forcing the plant to produce mostly THC with very little to no CBD, THC on its own DOES HAVE LEGITIMATE TIES AS A *CONTRIBUTING* FACTOR TO PSYCHOSIS, CBD on the other hand is an effective anti-psychotic, thus inherently combating the negative impacts of THC. THC is however still a highly effective painkiller, for what its worth.

@chaosblad3 : I have not seen any evidence of this claim. I'm a cognitive psychologist and the claim is only true for those whom already suffer from schizophrenia or likewise. On it's own, the cannabis deos NOT cause psychosis!!! So far, I have not encountered ANY negative effects from the plant that could be solidly substantiated with evidence. So be a devils advocate all you want, but do so with solid evidence to back up your words - not empty propaganda lies.

@patisallano Read what i said closely, and you should see that what I wrote actually agrees with your response: cannabis, specifically THC acts on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain, forcibly activating certain synaptic pathways (hunger, memorization filters etc.), which while not such a problem for neuro-typical people, could be a concern for anyone who's brain isn't wired up quite the same way, and can in SOME cases speed up the progression of an existing but very early stage psychosis.
