i just made flan for my first time, can someone let me know why my flan is runny in the center. i chilled for more than 6 hrs but the middle of the flan is still runny.....can someone tell me why???????
I just tried this, and the caramel reached that color but wasn't liquid. Rather, it was just rolling into a ball. Was my heat too high or too low perhaps?
@espaceman000 I don't know if you have already found out the solution... But I think you should just continue with it. When the sugar turns in to a ball (freezes), you just need to re-melt it again. it's just like water I think.. it froze and then un-froze again. Lolz I hope I'm not too late for answering your question.

I didn't really enjoy the instructions set to music, it wasn't the best way to do a tutorial. But I'm sure the flan is very good. Sorry

My future mother-in-law uses Khalua in her flan recipe. It's got a lot more stuff in it but maaaaaaaaaaaaan is it good!

Okay, I tried it at medium instead of medium low, and it worked like a charm. Now it's in the oven. Can't wait!

The evaporated milk goes in the blender, same as the consentrated milk and eggs.
