OK. First of all, Team Standbying is considered cheating. If you standby, you will be ruining the fun for everyone else. If you really want your "34", then EARN IT! The only reason Shotgun BR etc. seems better on host, Is because the host is sending the information to the other people's xbox's eg. Bullets, Melee's, Grenades etc. The host will have this info before the other player(s) xbox(s), Thus having the advantage over other players. That's why I play LAN :D (no host advantage, level playing field. I hope that helps, It's hard to explain :D

yea also connection host gets better shotgun better br and pretty much every thing else youll notice that when you have host all your weapons will seem more powerful and accurate.also i noticed tht when u get host in matchmaking or somethin you always get the kill if u and ur friend are shooting 1 guy at the same time.

having host makes you somewhat 'quicker' in things like bxr's and snipes.

A good example is this:

In blackjack "21" if the dealer and player both tie, dealer wins.

In halo if two players both get 4 head-shots, BXR each other, or snipe each other at the exact same time (just examples), host will most likely win.

Also, host enables the ability to standby.

if you do it constantly you will get banned, but a good way to prevent this is to just do it a little every day, don't go over board with it
