  • your coils are very pretty!

  • Hi, this style can be achieved with straws on relaxed hair. Finger styling would not work for relaxed hair, but you can get the same end result with straws.

  • Can this style be done on relaxed hair or just natural???

  • You workin it sista, too cute!

  • wouldnt it look cute if you did twisties on the front part of your hair and then did the finger coils in the back??

  • Just had to stop back by this video an tell you I coiled my hair this past week for the first time in probably 6 months and I love the look since my hair is alot longer. It takes more time to coil, but I've had these in the last 7 days and they still look GREAT. Thank you for the Video, It was a True Inspiration (I needed a change!). Be Blessed.

  • @MsMonalisa56 Thank you for this! I have been so busy with life that months have gone by with me not doing a video or as much as checking in, but thank you. It is great to know that what I have done thus far is beneficial. Thanks!

  • Pretty Coils. I haven't worn coils since my TWA days, but think I will try them again today after seen your vid.

  • @mayaj291 Thank you! I hope to make more videos soon. Sometimes the time just escapes me :)

  • what do you cover your hair with when you are sleeping.

  • Thanks for showing both lengths, that was very helpful. I am 1 month post 2nd chop and my hair is short.

  • I like that style, Can you use shea butter to achieve the coil look? Thank you for the tutorial!!

  • Your hair looks great and is growing fast. You are such a sweet person. We met at the curlynikki dmv meetup last month. I will definitely give this style a try on my twa at some point. Keep the videos coming....they're alwasy so informative.

  • Oh wow your coils came out sooooo pretty!!!!

  • Hey Fleurtzy! It was good seeing you today@the meet up. I recognized you from YT but couldn't remember your name. And when someone near me said "Isn't that Fleurtzy?" I said that's her name. Lol....I LOVE your colis in this video & this is my next style to try out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

  • Your accent is so cute! Where are you from? :-) And I love your hair.

  • I love your hair. I can't wait for my hair to grow a little bit more to try this style. Thanks for sharing. hug.

  • Your hair grows very fast! I've been natural for almost 2 years & you BC'd in 2010 but our hair is almost the same length. O_o

  • @MzMysty83 Thank you! My hair does grow fast.

  • Very pretty! I will try this when my TWA grows out a bit more. Did you use any heat at all? Did you pull the coils apart to make the look you have at the beginning and end of your video?

  • @daree76 Thank you! I did not use any heat. I allowed it to air dry completely. I pulled the coils in 2 or 3 sections to make the coil out look at the beginning of the video.

  • too cute

  • This looks very easy to do do and it looks good too. I'm going to try it soon. Thanks

  • Can someone please explain what "TWA" stands for? - Thnx

  • @tonyafaulk teenie weenie afro

  • @tonyafaulk teeny weeny afro =)

  • Pretty Coils, thanks for the tutorial!

  • Very cute! I especially love the longer coils and the coil out. How do you do a coil out, just unravel and separate?

  • @ginad86 I separate the coils starting at the roots. I pull the hair in 2, 4 or different sections depending on the starting size of the coils.

  • Wow!! They look great!! I tried to do this to my hair a little while ago (it's between shoulder and arm pit length) and it did not come out good lol it kept coming down. Any suggestions??

  • Great Style!

  • Very nice. Be Blessed~~

  • very very cute! your hair is growing out very fast! :)

  • Very nice! I want to try this style soon!

  • your coils are always so neat fleurzty

  • WOW...Your hair really grows fast in the front::) Love this style on you. Thanks for sharing:)

  • @goldensexymama LOL it's been growing evenly. I did cut the sides a lot shorter than the top. I'm debating now at which point to even it out. Probably not until it is much longer though :)

  • thanks for sharing! looks very pretty!
