Hi, this style can be achieved with straws on relaxed hair. Finger styling would not work for relaxed hair, but you can get the same end result with straws.
Just had to stop back by this video an tell you I coiled my hair this past week for the first time in probably 6 months and I love the look since my hair is alot longer. It takes more time to coil, but I've had these in the last 7 days and they still look GREAT. Thank you for the Video, It was a True Inspiration (I needed a change!). Be Blessed.
@MsMonalisa56 Thank you for this! I have been so busy with life that months have gone by with me not doing a video or as much as checking in, but thank you. It is great to know that what I have done thus far is beneficial. Thanks!
wow your hair is beautiful why you take so much time with finger coils? ever tried the brush method? anyways, you did a great job, I don't know if I'lll try this or not but looks good girl
Your hair looks great and is growing fast. You are such a sweet person. We met at the curlynikki dmv meetup last month. I will definitely give this style a try on my twa at some point. Keep the videos coming....they're alwasy so informative.
Hey Fleurtzy! It was good seeing you today@the meet up. I recognized you from YT but couldn't remember your name. And when someone near me said "Isn't that Fleurtzy?" I said that's her name. Lol....I LOVE your colis in this video & this is my next style to try out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)
Very pretty! I will try this when my TWA grows out a bit more. Did you use any heat at all? Did you pull the coils apart to make the look you have at the beginning and end of your video?
@daree76 Thank you! I did not use any heat. I allowed it to air dry completely. I pulled the coils in 2 or 3 sections to make the coil out look at the beginning of the video.
Wow!! They look great!! I tried to do this to my hair a little while ago (it's between shoulder and arm pit length) and it did not come out good lol it kept coming down. Any suggestions??
@goldensexymama LOL it's been growing evenly. I did cut the sides a lot shorter than the top. I'm debating now at which point to even it out. Probably not until it is much longer though :)
your coils are very pretty!

Very cute! I especially love the longer coils and the coil out. How do you do a coil out, just unravel and separate?
ginad86 1 year ago
@ginad86 I separate the coils starting at the roots. I pull the hair in 2, 4 or different sections depending on the starting size of the coils.
