It's done because the rock sinks on lap 3 and he wouldn't make it otherwise. It's actually probably the more useful shortcut for online races than the cut across the rock because it's easier and by extension less risky.

cause funky kong and ''bowser bike'' (europe)= very good speed, good drift and miniturbo soo bowserbike is very usefull on this track.

a few people think that you must only have speed but that isn't right otherwise evry course is with torpedo/spear or Aero Glider(europe).

Because statisticly, in that combo due to the fact that heavyweights have 3/3 speed like it says in the manual, and then if u look up mario kart characters stats it says funky kong also has plus 2 speed he is statiscly the fastest. Also to add even more speed they use the flame runner/bowser bike. Not the spear/torpedo because the flame runner has better drift and that's what you need when having such speed.

They use that combination because each character gets their own stats boost unfortunately Funky Kong gets the largest speed boost of all characters. And the Flame Runner is a quick bike with Funky Kong it goes very fast. But its not A out-of-control-car like the spear. its perfect to use it as records.

But in my opinion i dont like using those combination. Ill be good with standard bikes

Flame runner is faster than the spear sometimes, because of its good boost bonus.

it can be, but use spear whenever you can. spear is slightly faster, but slightly worse drift. this is why spear holds the world records at Mario and Luigi circuits, which have gradual turns. If there is a course with sharp turns, like GCN DK Mountain, use mach bike, which has sharper drift, but less speed. For most courses, use flame runner which is in between.

if you got first lap 0:34.6XX then second lap yuo get 0:33.5XX it is possible to do the short cut 3 times then the sub cuold of been like 1:42-1:43

Btw its not impossible brendans made it and so have I. The hard thing is once you make it the land falls. So when your drifting the land ahead falls, so you might fall :/

T'es sûr que c'est le WR no-glitch ? Les temps sur la MKPP n'acceptent pas le SC et il me semble que de très bons joueurs avaient fait des temps très proches il y a pas mal de temps, donc on peut considérer que c'est pas vraiment extra.
