I am not sure what you meant by inter marriage. Inter marriage is when two siblings marry another set of two siblings of opposite sex. I played league cricket for many years with Sinhalese and I found them to be no different from us Jaffna Tamils, the only difference I saw was they took life a lot easier and they had more fun. Because of this playing cricket was fun for me too and we all had a great time. I still miss playing with them.

Yes it is a good question. So if the powerful countries did not snatch land from natives, the disparity btwn rich and poor would have been less. Resource rich Africa would never have been destitute if not for colonization. If SL was not colonized we could have happily stayed in our lands like how Thai people happily live as they were never colonized. I am not sure what you meant by inter marriage. Inter marriage is when two siblings marry another set of two siblings of opposite sex. If what I am guessing is right, then what is wrong in Sinhalese/muslims/burgers & Tamils marrying each other. We are ok to marry non-Sri Lankans but cannot marry each other? My mother's sister who died due to an illness married a Tamil. Want to see more like that. Hope Sinhalese military in people in the North and East of SL find as many Tamil ladies.

I played league cricket for many years with Sinhalese and I found them to be no different from us Jaffna Tamils, the only difference I saw was they took life a lot easier and they had more fun. Because of this playing cricket was fun for me too and we all had a great time. I still miss playing with them.

Durayapah stadium is more of a soccer field but not a cricket field. But things might have changed after I left. You are correct about Dilshan, he is one entertaining player and love to watch his. I liked Chamara Silva but he does not play anymore or not selected these days. You may support MR and I may not have a clear choice of anyone but that is fine with me, we can debate about things without fighting, which is good. the south has the facilities to hold these top class games, Jaffna does not have these facilities. But the way things are going, they may have these facilities in another 25 years, which is a good thing. Anything is better than this nasty war. South has all the hotels and transportation, which will also catch on in the North. These cricket players can make things happen unlike these politicians. Where is the proof for all this? I know these things have been said but a court of law requires absolute proof. The war ended months ago and any evidence is long gone, so investigating now is useless anyway. Besides, I personally think the LTTE deserved no quarter for all they did to us.
