I need help. I'm a self-taught pianist, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Sometimes I get blisters and cuts on my fingers from playing...(I do tend to practice for three hours)....but is that normal?? The piano that I play is quite stubborn, the keys are very resistant.
when i took piano lessons, i was taught this part, but my teacher never taught me the finger rules of playing the A and B keys. Can someone enlighten me?
You have Great Piano skills! This is a good lesson for beginners of piano learners. Would you like to take a look at my piano tutorial and subscribe to my channel, I think we can learn from each other.
playing with "flat fingers" is incorrect because that means your hand would not be completely curved. If you don't play on the tips of your fingers, then the top joint on your finger will collapse. This equals poor finger strength, poor technique, and the student will have a lot of trouble playing advanced pieces. Some people can play with these collapsed fingers, but most piano teachers will instruct their students to always play on their fingertips.
9 people cant curve there fingers. ^_^
