How appropriate it is Gonzer that Journey's "Stone In Love" is being played on this News Clip "Those crazy nights, I do remember in my youth, I do recall those were the best times, most of all" :) I wish there was a way to hear Jim Ladd's "KMETAL Shop", it was the 1st Show to hear Thrash Metal and some of the Great Metal artists for the 1st time :). Am I reading correctly that you are on "The Sound"? (and man, "Tawny Little" the Anchor on the Left . . . she was Hott wasnt she? ;).
Thank GOD for You Tube! This is a special treat that brings back fond memories, and helps to explain what the hell I'm talking about to those who did NOT have the fortune of being in SoCal to experience the Mighty Met for themselves!
Here's hoping Finally a KMET Friday on 7/10 on 100.3 The Sound is not the last, but only the beginning of the rebirth of RADIO!
Although I am a 94.7 Wave Fan listening online from San Francisco. I love to hear KMET online it reminds me of 107.7 the Bone in San Francisco. and KFOG.
So glad to find you back in L.A. Radio. and Thank You ever so much for sharing this vid. Classic awesomeness. Will be seeing you around darlin. More and More, i hope.

I heard about John Lennon's death on KMET.......... This station was the soundtrack to my teen years. I cried when they went off the air :(
