Hey guys in my opinion hindi naman fil-ams ang reason kung bakit wala ng nanonood ng PBA ngayon. Remember the arrival of sonny alvarado, rob parker, al segova, jon ordonio, danny seigle, erci menk etc. medyo marami pa rin ang nanonood. I think the real reason kung bakit wala ng nanonood ngaun:
1. Money- players play for money rather than glory. Di tulad nung araw players give their best to win. Di mo sila masisisi, mahirap ang buhay ngaun kaya ingat silang mainjured kya walng kabuhay buhay.
they are supposed to be filipinos who wouldnt care to learn our dialects, even just a little, kahit 10 years na dito di pa rin marunong mag tagalog, bakit naman kaya sa tin pag sinabi anything made in the USA "sasabihin mas better" not that we dont like the fil-ams but its because the Philippines has a rich history in basketball dating back from the 50s, and these fil ams who are nobody elsewhere but opted to came here should be ashamed for the damage they've done to Philippine basketball.
i found the comments of the racist here.. do you what are you talking about?? yeah,we know, they are fil-ams..but they are filipinos also..in others parts of the world, they always welcome players with mixed native-foreign blood.. i really don't know, why here in the philippines, we don't like fil-ams?? you're racist and that's a violation in human rights..
Tama yan suggestion mo, parang applicante, pag di pumasa sa written exam, better luck next time, these fil ams thought of the PBA as a minor league gaya ng CBA sa States, wala sila alam sa glorious past ng PBA, noon mga aspiring cagers from the amateurs dream of making it to the pro league to play with their idols, today its no longer the case, mga fil ams nagpupuntahan dito because of the huge amount of salaries at sinasapawan nila mga homegrown talents natin.
oo nga iba talaga ang pba noon! all filipino.. REAL filipinos! kaya d ako masyado nanonood ng pba ngayun! puro cross breed na! ... saan na kaya si ponky alolor? hehehe
agreed, players in the past played with the sense of pride, players today play for money and huge salaries, kaya madami mga nagbabalikbayan fil ams, wala sila makuha trabaho sa tate.
glory days of PBA-pure pinoy basketball,no boring FIL-AMs. Pennisi?Belasco? Asi?-NAKAKA-ANTOK!!! I'd rather watch the likes of Bolado,Cabatu or Balingit.Helterbrand?-mas enjoy pa ako kay Joey Mente. PBA needs CROWD DRAWERS not DOLLAR EARNERS period.

Yes, I agree. Whereas, during the Vintage years, Joe Cantada and co. spoke straight English, pero di hamak na mas marami ang nanonood ng PBA noon, which means, mas dig ng Pinoy yung style nila.
i'll never forget the last play hehehe.. i was just 7years old that time, me and my brothers are die hard GSM fans we were thinking of shutting off the tv parang luto kasi yung mga last second calls and when gonzalgo made the three may mas matinding nangyari we were celebrating nasiko ako ng kuya ko sa bibig at natanggal isang ngipin ko hehehe.. great vid!!

Yes, I agree. Whereas, during the Vintage years, Joe Cantada and co. spoke straight English, pero di hamak na mas marami ang nanonood ng PBA noon, which means, mas dig ng Pinoy yung style nila.

...comfortable margin of safety, but THERE IS NO margin of safety here. no ifs and buts. LOL!
todo pressure cooker kay Pumaren iyon to send the game sa 2nd overtime.

Rob Williams (6'1") and Andre McKoy (6'2") - one of the best small import tandems ever. The duo gave Tanduay their first ever title in the 1986 First (Reinforced) Conference.
